Bio Photo In tracing my own family tree I have taken several photos of my family gravestones. I recently revisited an old cemetery and found that one of the stones I needed a re-take of, due to an annoying shadow, was now buried under grass and barely locatable(in only 2 years!). That experience has sparked me to check the cemeteries posted at Find A Grave for cemeteries in my area that need photos added. I have also begun to add names (memorials) to the cemeteries at Find A Grave as I go through my photos and find someone(family member or not) that hasn't been listed yet.

Since you are reading this, I hope it means that I added a name or a photo of someone in your tree. I am gladly volunteering my efforts to help others find their family graves as several Find A Grave volunteer contributors have helped me. Therefore, I grant permission to save a copy of any of my photos posted on for your personal use in your database or your personal on-line tree. In addition, I will gladly transfer management of a memorial(if it isn't in my tree) per Find A Grave guidelines. -Judi

Thanks so much for the picture. I don't know why he has no military marker.

RE: Isaac Pool (buried Dighton, MA)
Thank you for the quick reply and approving the info. Yes, there were several families from Dighton,MA that migrated to Bristol,NY - so many that I'm surprised that didn't rename it New Dighton or something. The Vincent Hill/Codding Cemetery is about 75% former Dighton residence (or descendants of such). I do find that they are all somehow connected to one another in one way or another.

George Baker 1799 - 1875
Hi Judy,

Thanks for linking George Baker to his parents George Baker (1762 -1852) & Jane Quinn Baker (1772 - 1857). Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Thanks, M. Baker

RE: Fisher family at Riverside Cem. Grafton, MA
Hi JB,
You're welcome. I really don't know too much about this family except they are the ones that Fisherville in Grafton appears to have been named for. I am researching them in order to tie them into my family tree. I've taken them back several generations into Connecticut and Rhode Island but am currently stuck in the early 1700's. I'm sure there's a tie-in that I'll figure out some day. I keep hoping for a direct descendent to appear that can make the connection for me. In the meantime, I keep trying to get as much information as possible and help fill in the memorials when I can.

RE: re: Emily Lecoeuvre birthdate
Sorry! You've made me realize what I did is not a wise method. I left the birthdate listed on my edit because that was on the stone and added place of birth. Then I sent the birthdate that is on her certificate which was a different year through the suggestion. I would also use the date on the certificate. I won't do it that way any more.
