 | RE: Martin Stiles FAG Memorial# 37604510 Hi Alvah,
Sorry for bothering you. I was getting an error message from several profiles when I tried to request a photo, and I assumed that they were all the same problem. I then found out that the reason I couldn't request a photo on this particular profile was because someone else already had.
I mistakenly believed that there were separate copies of your photo on the cemetery overview site and on Martin Stiles profile were copies of the same photo. I didn't want you to remove the photo from the overview or any other profile.
The photo is lovely -- I never said or implied that there was anything wrong with it.
Thanks for understanding, Marilyn | | | mariolina
 | Martin Stiles FAG Memorial# 37604510 Hi Alvah --
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'm a little puzzled why you can't find Martin Stiles because I gave you all the information you need (his memorial number in FindAGrave, the name of the cemetery where he's buried, and the llocation of the cemetery).
Here's a direct link to his profile that you can copy (no spaces):
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=37604510
If for some reason the link dopesn't work, you can also search by his FindAGrave memorial number:
1. At the main FindAGrave page, click Begin New Search.
2. You'll see an empty Find A Grave Search Form.
3. In the Memorial # box (third from bottom of the form), paste in Martin Stiles' ID number, which is: 37604510
4. Click Search.
5. This should bring you directly to his page. Once on his page, click on the Photos tab.
I'm not sure exactly how you delete a photo because the delete option would be visible only to a person who has uploaded a photo for that memorial.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you still have trouble.

 | Martin Stiles FAG Memorial# 37604510 Hi Alvah,
I'm sorry to have to ask this of you, but I'd like you to remove the photo of the Old Burying Ground in Westfield that you added several years ago to the memorial for Martin Stiles (Find A Grave Memorial# 37604510).
I'd like to request a photo of the memorial for this person because I have some doubts about the accuracy of his bio, and the information on his gravestone may help clear it up. Unfortunately, Find A Grave's policy is that if even a single photo has been added to an individual memorial, users can no longer request a photo for that memorial. As long as this photo is attached to the memorial, I'm not allowed to request a photo of the monument. I see that you've also added this photo to the cemetery overview, so nothing would be lost if you remove it from this memorial. (I think it makes more sense to attach landscape cemetery photos to the cemetery overview anyway.)
I'm relatively new here, so I don't know if Find A Grave has always had this policy about limiting photo requests or if it's something new. I'm sure lots of people have added photos of a cemetery to an individual memorial with the best of intentions, without realizing that they've blocked users from requesting a photo of the memorial itself. It doesn't seem like Find A Grave really thought about the all the consequences of their photo request policy, unfortunately.
Thanks for understanding,

 | Mercy Ann Hull Memorial# 30834130 Hello Alvah,
you had listed a memorial for Mercy Ann Hull, and remarked that you did not know if she had any children, she did have at least 3:
Charles Hull b.1834 Lucy A. Hull b.1836 Rachael Hull b1840
thanks for the great photo and your hard work in documentation!

 | Thank you! Thank you so much for that photo of the cemetery. It is so beautiful. I re-uploaded my request for those graves so that if you have time to find them, you can upload them to their locations. Thank you so much for your time, it is greatly appreciated.
