Bio and Links
Bio Photo If I manage someone you are related to, send me a note using the "EDIT tab." I will transfer the memorial to you if I'm not a descendant.

However, if I've already completed extensive research on the deceased, by adding links and a biography, there is no need for a transfer. I myself use the great Find A Grave feature "Virtual Cemeteries." This is a wonderful way to keep track of family memorials managed by others. And anyway, why would you want to ask for a transfer if the memorial has an accurate biography and links? I'm sure you would not wish to take credit as author of the biography already written by me. 😀

I'm happy to add additional "sourced" information to memorials I manage, and grateful for any corrections to errors I may have made.

Please use the EDIT tab if you find an error in my research, or if you wish to add information. If your edit can be verified with records, I will include a link to your profile page, and give you credit for corrections or additions.

I'm Grateful to Volunteer my time 😀

Here is a nice website for calculating the birth date from stones that list only death date and age at death. Before you use the calculator, please read the fine print at the bottom of the page, which begins with; While doing some testing on this with 30+ death certificates already containing a birth date, death date, and age, I have found it to be only 39% accurate. It was 1-3 days off 38.5% of the time and more than 3 days the remaining 22.5%

Lives are commemorated, deaths are recorded, families are reunited, memories are made tangible and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life; not death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people, a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering, always.

Hannah Frick Reinhard
I am trying to find documentation connecting Hannah Frick Reinard and her husband, John Reinard/Rinehart, a Revolutionary War veteran, with their daughter, Esther Ethel Rinehart who married John Jacob Brower. I have been unable to find anything, wills, census data, etc. Does someone have anything?

Robert Moscrip Grave (151626762, Bellevue, Nebraska)
Hi Shari,

In response to a recent photo request, I looked for Robert Moscrip's (151626762) grave at Bellevue Cemetery, Nebraska. Although I didn't search the whole cemetery, I believe that Robert's grave may be unmarked.

The Bellevue Cemetery map posted on the outside wall of the visitor's center shows that block 18, lot 5 is owned by the "Moscript" family. I examined this lot, confirming the location by the surrounding markers, and found no Moscrip markers in the area. Since there are no other Moscrip/Moscript memorials identified at Bellevue Cemetery, Robert Moscrip is likely buried in an unmarked grave in the Moscript lot.

Feel free to post the above info to Robert's memorial.

Please contact me if you wish to see photos of the cemetery map and the Moscript lot.

Samuel and John Ransom
Hi Shari, I've been spending time in VT where our son lives and researching the Ransoms. Samuels brother is buried in East Poultney Cemetery (John) and I've been trying to connect them on find-a-grave. Since you initiated Samuels site you are the one who can add to his BIO. Some one suggested trying the following link. Could you try and let me know whether it works?

Brother of John Ransom, who is buried in the East Poultney Cemetery in East Poultney, Rutland, VT.

William Britt, Kentucky
Hi Shari, I hope you can give me some advice.

My 2x Gr Grandmother Delilah J McNary, born 1806 in Kentucky. She married in Putnam Co., Indiana 1826 to Handy Britt. records show her father was from Kentucky. They named their 2nd son William O. Britt. I think after Delilah's father. I do not know where in KY they were. I found a William McNary in the McNary cemetery that you listed.
I appreciate the work you do and thank you for any advice you can give me.

Thank you

RE: Anna Wenzl: 40174339
Obits are my favorite, since they usually have family members listed and can be linked if they're not living. There was a time when obits were considered "public" material, everything gets abused and ruins it. Privacy is a big issue so living members need to be considered. I like to add at least first names of children. If I remember they had way more then the 3 listed. :)
