Bio Photo Find-a-Grave rocks!

Let me know if you need a transfer if you can add more bio info. Hope everyone gets out there and photographs some stones - that is the main reason this site exists. Thanks.

May 2014

Heading back out to photograph some stones weather permitting. I'm also going through all the Amidons here on Find-a-Grave and linking them together/updating the family info. I've found sooooooooo many new cousins since the last time I've done this search.

Thanks to everyone who's helping me out with edits.

June 2014

Another round of photos at Crystal Lake. The end is in sight. Thanks to Ed Poulin for creating many many memorials in advance of the photographing - saving me lots of time.

RE: Amidons
Hi Ryan, today was overcast so I decided to try Sally and William again. I think today is about as good as its going to get. I even laid on the ground for you. :-D the things we do...

Re: Amidon Corrections
I received your corrections for the Amidons at Westridge Cemetery in Charlton. I like to add source info if the info I am adding is not on the stone. It helps fellow researchers. Can you privately email me those details and I will make your corrections, add the sources and credit you with the information? I also do this so that down the road if I get questioned about where the info came from, I have a reasonable answer. Thanks for all your help.

RE: Spanish American War Project
What would be involved in managing the site? If it is not overly involved I would be willing to take on Mr. Baker and possibly other Co. F, Veterans if you want me to. Carla

Spanish American War Project
My name is Carla Charter. I thought you might be interested. I have created a Company F. Spanish American War database, which I am currently trying to complete. The info I do have has been given to to the city clerk and vets agent so they have a record of all the Spanish American war veterans. I am also working on documenting all of Co. F's burial sites including pictures of the gravestones to be added at the registry at Carmi Baker served in that war. Also Co. F left behind an amazing book of their experiences in the war which can be found at the local history room at Heywood Library.

RE: Amidons
I might have to try different time of year. There is also a large tree casting a shadow. I'll keep it on my to do list.

Amidon plot
Hi Ryan, I was at the cemetery and took photos of the plot. I could only get good photos of Lydia and Martin on the family monument. I'll try another time of day for the rest.
