RE: John Smith
Question about the census you mention: what year and is he on the census alone in his own name or is he on the census near Abiel? There were so many John Smiths, even in the town he came from.

I looked at a printout of the names buried at Myrtle Hill, and his name isn't there. This is why it is important to narrow down the time frame of his residence. I have him in 1783 in Whately, MA, but can't find any record of him living in NY. Can you help?

John Smith
Do you have any info on the death of Olive Smith Harding's father John and his possible death/burial in Barre, NY? Thanks.

Disregard the prior message. It was in regards to Sarah's stone which you HAVE noticed. Deb

RE: Trimbles
In case you haven't noticed, I've uploaded a pix of Nancy's stone. It is small and tilted forward so the image is not the best. Deb

Your Photo Request for Memorial # 70993586
Visited St Mary's Cemetery, in Alaska, WI yesterday. You have a photo request for Wilhelmina Witte (1858-1902). I added two photos to her memorial page, however I added them as "other" images, not headstone images. So your photo request is still active. Take a look at her memorial page & view the photo captions I included. Let me know if you want to consider these her headstone. If so, I can re-add them as "headstone photos", instead of "other photos".

Note: The Kewaunee County Cemetery Transcription List describes the cemetery as such:

ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH CEMETERY
PIERCE TOWNSHIP
-Located NE 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 19
-In village of Alaska-behind store
-Records at Holy Rosary Church

I have more information about the location of this cemetery, if you want more details. Reply or send me a private message, per my contributor page notes.

I wish you good luck ....

I linked Jasper Brand to his parents as you requested. Jasper Brand was my step-great grandfather. He married my great grandmother when she was a widow with 2 children. They then had four children of their own but my mother says "Grandpa Brand" was a good step-father to my grandmother and that he treated his step-grandchildren and his own grandchildren all the same. God bless his memory!!!
