Family history and cemeteries have been a fascination of mine many years. There was a small cemetery across the road from land my grandfather homesteaded in Kansas with graves with our family name. 'Dad, who are those people?,' was an early question of mine. |
Then, each Memorial Day, I stayed with my favorite aunt in a nearby town; it had the cemetery of our extended family. We would gather blooms all round her small town as neighbors shared flowers to decorate those graves. I learned about our family and hers as we placed our bouquets at grave sites. Now, many years later there are many more cemeteries where I feel this personal connection.
If you find errors on any memorial I've submitted, please let me know so I can correct it. Just use the EDIT tab and send me a 'suggest a correction' [SAC] message.
If you would like a memorial transferred to you, using F.A.G. guidelines, please use the EDIT tab on the specific memorial and send me a SAC; it provides me with your note AND a link to the memorial you would like to manage. Don't forget to include your member number.

|Mary Sicard||Vern Andrews|
I am happy to add the information you gave to me. I am distantly related to Vern's wife.
|Dennis Peterson||David Westfall|
Main sources for David Westfall line is Kingston Dutch Church records by Hoes and Minisink and Mackackemech Church records. All are available free on line.
|Donna O||Orrie Trotter's parents|
I have linked Orrie to his parents. Thank you so much for the information. I knew him and his wife personally for many of my early years. His wife was a 1st cousin to my Grandmother, and we all lived in the same town.
Because of their dedication to their crippled Grandson, Lyle that they raised from babyhood, and their desire that he live as normal a life as possible with other children, my 3 sisters and I were at their home a lot.
I am now in my mid 70's so this was a 'few' years ago.

You have probably received the message transferring Frank Elam Trotter to you. I am part of a project in Canyon County, Idaho, taking headstone photos and posting obits for those buried in the county. It is at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~idfs/ if you want to look further as there are other Trotters mentioned. You may also contact me by email mentioned on my Find A Grave contributor page.
