Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in central Massachusetts with my wife Barbara. Formerly the Director of Operations at a Worcester Mass. facility, I am now retired, leaving me much more time for prowling through graveyards!
I particularly like discovering and photographing old gravestones, and consider myself very fortunate to be living in New England where so many of the early settlers are buried. I also try to photograph as many graves of veterans I come across, from those who fought in the Revolutionary War through the present time.

My objectives are two-fold:

1.When I post photos of their graves on Find A Grave, along with as much bio information as I can gather about them, I feel that I am honoring their lives, in some small way.
2. I want to capture as many of these old stones on disk before acid rain, vandalism, snowplows, and whatever obliterates them forever!
(Being a graveyard junkie, however, I am apt to take a picture of any interesting grave that catches my eye...regardless of the era)!

Dorman Ulf
Hi Jim,

I will contact them. I'm pretty sure there has been a mistake as I attended his funeral. Thanks again for your efforts.

Dorman and Lillian Ulf
Lillian Pascall Ulf was my grandfather's second wife. Her death date is clearly wrong here. (#6219626). She died Dec 29, 1993 in Worcester.

RE: #6219625
Hi Jim,

I suppose it's possible, but in my year or two of researching Ulfs I have not come across another Dorman M. Ulf. His father was Charles Ulf and is buried in Tidioute, PA. My grandfather lived in Worcester for the last part of his life and died there. It seems like a heck of a coincidence that there would be two in the same area. There are very few Ulfs. But I have no knowledge of what became of his mortal remains.

Would you be willing to link Mary Seeley to her parents:

Charles Jonathon Seeley #55614104
Frances C. Seeley #12749815

both in the Seeley Cemetery in Middlebury, VT?

Thank you,

Hi Jim,

Dorman Ulf was my grandfather. He was born in 1900 and died in 1979. Thanks for adding him.

Ichabod Hides #7104034
Hello Jim,

Could you clear up a little confusion on the page for Ichabod Hides in East Parish Burying Ground, Newton? It reads: "Note: age 32. Spouse William H. Hastings (d.1901)" That would put Mr. Hastings' death some 200 years after Ichabod Hides' death on 3 Nov 1700.
Thank you for clearing this up.
