Brainerd, Brainard and Braynard are 99% interchangeable, though our immigrant ancestor's (Daniel Brainerd 1641-1715) grave marker is spelled Brainerd. See memorial # 47491853. My line through William has always spelled it correctly.
Sq. Cyrus Green Andrews Hi, I don't remember where I got the info on the Squire title, but I usually get my info off rootsweb.com or ancestry.com. Some of my older files came from my mothers files she passed onto me. It might have come from findagrave if someone else listed him like that. I have not checked on it.
RE: Deborah Brainard It's around the corner from my house if we don't get snow tonight I will run up tomorrow and see if I can get anymore. Other than that maybe I can hit the library for you..sorry it took so long to get back to you I'm way behind on messages Diane
Thank you very much for pointing out the duplicates. Greatly appreciated! Amazing what one little letter difference can make with Brainerd or Brainard. I have deleted my memorials for Hiram and Mehetabel and am adding photos as I type.
