I try to be as accurate as possible with my submissions. If you find any errors contact me. use the "Edit" tab at the memorial and then "Suggest a correction" to send me any updated information or corrections. |
IMPORTANT: make sure you include an email address or have the ability to be contacted when sending corrections. Sometimes I have been sent a correction that has a typo or error and I may need to contact you to verify the information
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives, This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren only!
Any non-direct relatives ,(aunts, uncles, cousins), 2nd great grandparents & beyond are not required to be transferred.
Explain your relationship in the request!

Hi John: First of all thanks for all the work you do for Find A Grave. I was wondering if you would please transfer management of Edgar A Lockwood (New Mansfield Cemetery) Find A Grave # 60146220 to me Marilyn Find A Grave # 48904600. He's my GG grandfather.

According to The descendants of George Holmes of Roxbury, 1594-1908 by George Arthur Gray (1908), Ebenezer Holmes #80970220 (1760-1797) is the son of Ebenezer Holmes #70078995 (1728-1797), who is buried in the same cemetery. They seem to have died within several days of each other but no explanation is given.
The wives of the two Ebenezers do not currently seem to have findagrave memorials. The elder Ebenezer was married to Lucy Nicols and the younger Ebenezer was married to Serena Dresser.
Ebenezer Holmes #80970220 (1760-1797) is the grandson of Jehoshaphat Holmes (#70078625) and Sarah Waldo (#80970483), both of whom are buried in the same cemetery as well.
I found this while researching a different Ebenezer Holmes and thought I would pass it on.

Thank you so much for the two transfers! I really appreciate it.
I am going to send you an edit adding parents for Caroline A Baird. Her last name was misspelled at the cemetery.

Thank you for the memorials you have created for the Civil War veterans in this cemetery. I am researching the 2nd Connecticut Heavy Artillery and have been adding headstone pictures to their memorials and other veterans memorials you created. Please let me know if you have any comments on the photos and thanks again, JIM

Thanks for making the corrections. You'll probably get some more....I noticed some misspellings on the Hale...like the Schwortz family is really the Schwartz family..my friend will be uploading those pictures over the weekend...Have a nice weekend yourself!

#76294445 & 60241420 are my ancestors. I am most grateful for you taking the time to not only bless me with these photographs, but all of us descendants. May God bless you for your labors on our behalf.
I shall be adding all of their children and parents as Find-a-graves gives us the numbers. This site is a gift to all genealogists, in my humble opinion. This way others can learn what America is really all about, each of us helping others who can not help themselves.
As a person who is homebound, you have allowed me to visit my deceased relatives. I thank you and all those who do this work.
