Love to all who record history through this medium!!!

Please copy pictures if you desire.

My pictures have survived house fires, floods, tornadoes, family breakups and the Great Rebellion. They have been transported miles in a wagon or handcart, trains, planes and automobiles. Some were carried by soldiers to wars in all parts of the world.

Enjoy them to honor those who protected them!!

It gives me great joy when I find a photo posted on that I have taken and have shared only on findagrave.

Anyone who desires please upload your pictures to my memorials.

Troll's Bridge
RE: William Brown memorial
Hi, I was born in Omaha NE, and was disgusted when I read about that lynching! Gov. Edward P. Smith, attempted to save William, and stop the hanging. Some people grabbed him and strung him up also- but the police stopped the crazy people from killing Edward, but not William! Its awful, I did sponsor Edward P. Smith at the same time I sponsored William.
I do not know what happen.

I guess the people went crazy in Omaha, it must have been a virus ??? William did not deserve that, and he was innocent. I am sure the woman lied about the whole thing. I never imagined something like that could happen in the mid-west- only the south! I WAS WRONG! It is so sad, and it makes me ashamed of Omaha! Take Care Cindy

John McCoy, Jr. - Dayton National Cemetery
Hi Luann,

John McCoy, who died Sept. 3, 1876 and is buried in Dayton National Cemetery, served during the Civil War in Company H, 69th Pennsylvania Infantry. I have military documents from that support this. He was born 1821 in Ireland and died 1876 at the Dayton Soldiers Home.

Is this the correct man you have family members linked to? Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Alexander Lewis Davis
Hi Luann,
Thx for your reply. My gg grandmother was Florence Haseltine Davis Coffman. She was a daughter of A. L. Davis. She married Wm. M. Coffman. I believe I have a picture of some of A.L. Davis' children. My late grandmother was able to ID a few of them.

Lewis O. Jones
hi luann, thought i'd let you know that that the date you have on the memorial for Lewis O. Jones, buried in salem cemetery, near cliquot , polk county, missouri doesn't agree with what shows up on his tombstone. larry boyd had a photo on the page. i went to visit the cemetery, took another photo. some parts of it are a little clearer than larry's photo, so i went ahead and added it too. the date was called to my attention today, i didn't notice, so now you know. if you want my picture deleated, just yell, i am finally figuring out how to do this photo thing, so maybe i'll make some progress with what i have access to. thanks for all your work, later, debie.
