Love to all who record history through this medium!!!

Please copy pictures if you desire.

My pictures have survived house fires, floods, tornadoes, family breakups and the Great Rebellion. They have been transported miles in a wagon or handcart, trains, planes and automobiles. Some were carried by soldiers to wars in all parts of the world.

Enjoy them to honor those who protected them!!

It gives me great joy when I find a photo posted on that I have taken and have shared only on findagrave.

Anyone who desires please upload your pictures to my memorials.

You have just added more good news to my day. Thanks so much...and am so glad you are keeping Sharon's "love of family" going! Bless you, it's a big job. And also wanted you to know that Daniel Wyatt is really the one who is out there taking pics and posting....he's such a gentleman. I will pass along your message. Anything we can ever do to help, just let us know. Wilma

Hi, I'm a friend of Sharons and miss her so much. In the above listing which she did so well, there is a problem....there are so many HURST named cemeteries in Fleming Co., and sadly Samuel in placed in the wrong one. He is buried in the Hurst Cemetery on James Rd., Fleming Co., (that's between Rt. 32, Goddard area and Wallingford). It is possible for you to alter the listing to the right Cemetery? I have other members who can substantiate the proper location. Hoping you can help, Wilma Doyle & Daniel Wyatt....(Daniel Wyatt lives just a few miles from the cemeteries in question and is a great volunteer) p.s. My Hurst grt grandparents are also buried in Fleming in yet another "family" cemetery on Mt. Hope Rd.

James Lewis Hicks #47589419
Just to let you know that I have been doing some research on James Lewis. I have added a picture found in the Coates Family Tree and requested changes to add additional information found during my search.

I was surprised to find that he was killed in the Philippines in 1942 and his brother Ralph was killed while serving with the Navy during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

How tragic that James and Nelle lost 2 sons so close together.

Thank you for posting that photo. Do you know anything else about the people in the picture or when it was taken? Thanks for any information

Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

RE: William Brown memorial
Hi, I was born in Omaha NE, and was disgusted when I read about that lynching! Gov. Edward P. Smith, attempted to save William, and stop the hanging. Some people grabbed him and strung him up also- but the police stopped the crazy people from killing Edward, but not William! Its awful, I did sponsor Edward P. Smith at the same time I sponsored William.
I do not know what happen.

I guess the people went crazy in Omaha, it must have been a virus ??? William did not deserve that, and he was innocent. I am sure the woman lied about the whole thing. I never imagined something like that could happen in the mid-west- only the south! I WAS WRONG! It is so sad, and it makes me ashamed of Omaha! Take Care Cindy
