Glidden Road Cemetery Dale, I'm wondering, is this cemetery the one on the corner of Holley-Byron Rd and Glidden Rd? After reading the directions & looking at the photos, I'm still not sure without actually driving out there..... Thanks, Nancy
McQuaid graves.. northern MI Hi, wondering if you are related to the McQuaids? I see that you sponser many of them... My Mom's Mother was Sadie McQuaid.. I just photographed the McQuaids left in the Onaway, Cheboygan area. Still one more daughter... in NewBerry, MI. How can the photo's of the gravestones be put on Find A Grave? I would do it if you don't have them.. or email them to you. Love doing geneology and still remember seeing some of these family members as a child. At Waverly.. there is a John and Beatrice Lafave... Beatrice is one of 5 daughters of Horace McQuaid. let me list the siblings: Ethel, Aletha, Donald, Chester, Clyde, Berthul, Beatrice, Sadie..(my GrandMother). All Michigan burials exept for Aletha McQuaid Peterman.. she is in MO. thank you for the work you are doing... I am in awe. Linda Fales- McQuaid- Draves -Hall . quite the linage .

Peters Headstone Photos Hi Dale: Thank You for the photos & info posted pertaining to Your Grandparents, Clifford and Thelma Peters, (Find A Grave Memorial# 67430469) and other family members. My Dad is Clifford"s brother Clarence Velmer Peters (Find A Grave Memorial# 67435390), Making your Grandfather, my Uncle. I faintly remember meeting Clifford & Thelma at a family reunion at your Great Grandmothers, Burthul Bessie (McQuaid) Peters/LaForest home in late 1959, she then is married to Tommy LaForest. So as you may tell, your research info and photos mean alot to me and my further family research. Thanks Again, Ron (Floral City, Fl.)
Thanks for advance permission to use your photograph. I am currently compiling in hard copy the Cheadle family history of which the above is married to a descendant of the progenitor, George Cheadle. My mother-in-law was a Cheadle. I am NOT requesting transfer of any memorials. I consider it a common courtesy to respectfully request permission to download gravestone photos which pertain to our line as well as information from obituaries, etc., regardless of copyrights.
This is to let you know that credit will be given such as "Courtesy, Dale Korona, contributor, Find A Grave Memorial # ? ? ?" if this is satisfactory. For those who do not wish credit, I use "Courtesy of Find A Grave contributor who wishes to remain anonymous" which lets people know I am not plagiarizing other peoples' research without their knowledge.
Your written permission would be preferred but, should I not receive it by May 20, I will presume you have no objections to my request. Please know that this "deadline" is not meant to push you to a decision but to perhaps save you a little time by not having to respond.
My treatise is in no way a profit making project and will not (by my request) be posted on the internet nor will living individuals be included to the best of my ability.
You have no idea how much we who are of an age (I'm 85) or distance and cannot traipse through cemeteries as we once did appreciate the effort and passion of you who contribute to Find A Grave. Many thanks from an old lady. In many cases (such as this one) I don't even have an idea where the person is buried!
