Louis Fay
No I'm not related just able to search for information thru my genealogical databases. I take pictures at the local cemetery. If no plot location is given and I can't find them in their database for plots I try and locate a place of death or a wife that might give me a lead on them. Today I had a request for a woman who was really with her husband in a cemetery in Northern CA with the same name. Probably just a mistake because the spelling is just a little different.
I got Louis' birthdate from the California Death Index online. Not a whole lot of info but it helps.

RE: Owen Carabine 1832 1901

Sorry for the delayed response.
Unfortunately, I don't believe Oklahoma has put up the DC online.
Pennsylvania recently uploaded the 1906 - 1963 DC online, that's where I grabbed them from.

Here's the PAHR facebook link which does keep me current on other state records becoming available online. You may want to search the internet using as your search engine. Sometimes things just pop up for me.

Here's the link to the PA free online records including PA DC's:

You may want to bookmark the page. Just a note, sometimes the link can be glitchy.

I hope this helps.

RE: findagrave Hunt
Thanks for your quick response...I'll stay in touch and will happily delete any duplicates once we know for sure that's what they are. I read that it wasn't uncommon for bodies to be moved from one place to another one. Would love to see photos of those old cemeteries if there is anything at all. :-)

Maybe you will find this link useful:

RE: langlotz Evangelical Cem
Hi John, Boy what confusion! :-) Sorry I wasn't more was late. :-)

Based on cemetery records that I have, I believe that Cay and her husband Henry are buried at the West Boonville Evangelical Church graveyard at the following link:

I didn't see your memorials for them since we have different cemeteries, and we have Cay named differently. They are obviously the same people. (Both of our Henry's died in church!)

They are there with Cay's father and mother, and her brother John.

My memorials for Cay and Henry:
Cay: 145501840
Henry: 145462775

Spanish American War
Thank you for all the virtual entries honoring veterans and especially for those among the railroaders who served in the Spanish American War. If you ever, in your Civil War meandering, find Jackson Bond, Edward R. Henderson, or Stephen H. Stokley (the Southerners who chased Andrews Raiders aboard the General), please let me know.

You are very welcome. He and his wife are resting in a lovely spot. If you ever do come to the Fraser Valley drop me a line.
