Walters real name was Fletcher T. H Fletcher-Thaddeus was his biological Fletcher.
Fletcher was a railroad man who lived in Louisville Kentucky in 1900 and died a few years later I only saw him in 1900 census.
My grandmother re married another railroad man in Louisville Kentucky and they moved to St Louis Mo.
Daniel James Kelly adopted my father and his brother and changed their name to Kelly.
D.J. Kelly worked on a passenger train that went to Kansas City and back to St. Louis and he retired from the Missouri Pacific RR here in
How can I find out anything about these two men? I think that they worked for the same railroad in Louisville Kentucky.
I put the only other two pictures that I have on findagrave web site from my Fathers railroad days.
My father's grave is in Memorial Park Cemetery on Lucas and Hunt Rd St. Louis Mo.

|Susan Burks||RE: Christiana Carden|
You are more than welcome.
Marywood Cemetery has many interments without a headstones or markers. There are a lot of concrete headstones and/or footstones with no lettering nor dates; just the stone or rock.
:~( However, I went to the Historian who documented Marywood Cemetery and also, spoke with the Historian at Tyndall Air Force Base and both have the list (which you see on Find A Grave which unfortunately has duplication of the interments names). They do not have a record of precisely who was buried in all the unmarked grave. :~(
The good news is that at one point in time, someone knew where Christiana Carden was buried (exact location) and placed a marker with her name, born, and died dates. There are a total of five located in Marywood Cemetery with the same marker style as like Christiana Carden.
I hope this information helps you. If you should have additional questions, please let me know.

well I found a few if you are...I was researching ancestry for Alphanes Budlong in Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, MO. and I found this census. I could not help but put in the memorial. I thought it may mean a good chuckle among the sad memories for some. Also a way for you to track some long lost RR hands. Enjoy...
As I read the census of 1870 thought would include it here, it made me Irish blood chuckle as I thought drunken brawl and to much celebration. After the names of the family and the servant is the people in jail, the occupation and where they were from. The one that threw me though was the baby in jail...the last one on the list Marion Moore, a black baby, male. F stands for Female, M stands for male, W for white, and B for Black. The child should have been listed after Mama, the servant of the household not after the list of prisoners in the jail.

Do you have any photos of Aunt Mildred? She's my great-aunt by marriage. Her husband, Earl Ward was my mom's mother's brother.
