|Sally Jankowski||Paul Corrigan & Frances Thompson|
Hi Connie (at least I think it's Connie) :)
I'm Sally Stevens Jankowski - you, my dad & I corresponded back in 2001 about Uncle Paul and Aunt Frances.
My dad passed away in 2013 and only now am I able to be emotionally strong enough to start scanning photos and family documents and attempt to sort them in some way that makes sense to me, let alone future generations.
Anyway, I came across a photo of my dad, my grandparents and, I believe, your Aunt Frank. It was taken in the early 40's.
Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll be happy to email you a copy.
I kept my dad's note to you where he promised to send you a copy of the photo - don't know if he ever did.
Also, do you have any address of where Paul & Frank lived? The address (or at least part of it) shows in the photo. I can see the numbers 925 - don't know the street, etc.
Good to reconnect with you. Looking forward to hearing from you,
Sally Stevens Jankowski

Thank you for the additional information. If this is a relative you would like to have, let me know and I will transfer.
Hi, C. Golden. I am working on the Moses Thompson line through his son, Samuel. I noticed that you put a lot of information on his grave entry, and his wife's. I was wondering if you could tell me more about him and his family, especially where he was born. Thanks!

Your relative rests in one of the most beautiful cemeteries I have visited. No fancy statues just a gorgeous American flag that flies proudly and is seen from every angle of the cemetery. Moose and bear occasionally cross the grounds. Every time a veteran comes homes to rest at Fort Richardson, the flag is lowered at half staff. As their remains are taken to their final resting place, even the grounds keepers stop and take a moment to stand at attention as they pass. No ones' service is forgotten.
Thank you for being part of their family. For me it is an honor to make sure they are never forgotten.

RE: James Hawkins 66324561, Mountain View Cemetery, Ashland, Oregon.
Actually, the death notice says he was born in New York and as a child came west with his parents
(doesn't say where)and since, resided much of the time in Oregon. (No mention of Nebraska is made.)

I can understand how disconcerting that can be when you think someone is one place and they can't be found there. Thanks for explaining to me. Your grandmother must have loved to travel and saw many changes in her lifetime.
