RE: Harve Lowe Duplicate
Hello Marji:
I am sincerely grateful for your well wishes and yes, I am looking forward to some better health news this new year.

You wrote me: If you will move Memorial #9613411 to the correct McFarland Cemetery, I can then transfer the photograph from Memorial #89807931 to #9613411, and then delete #89807931. That will get the interment into the correct cemetery and delete the duplication. Only the other contributor or an administrator can do what you ask.

I'm sorry, but I'm not an administrator; I only notify people when there are duplicates. You can send an email to and explain your situation and let them handle it. In some cases like your Harve Lowe, other contributors are just posting from transcribed lists and other information they find. I have found many times when I notify them of a duplication, I go back and they have deleted their memorial regardless of who made one and when. I assume they have discovered they have placed it in the wrong cemetery or actually did make a dupe.

Sorry to be so long-winded, but thought you deserved a full explanation and the fact that I don't have the editing powers. Thanks again for your kind words - you will never know how greatly they are appreciated!

That's Elizabeth Siler not Sarah. Sarah was their daughter and the mother of Willie Elizabeth.

RE: W Harp Memorial Transfer
I am the one who made the mistake. It was Wm. Petrey who made the stone. Once I had a few conversations with family who had been there when they helped the preacher restore her stone was it was dug up. They helped clean it up and prepare it for re-installing. It had sunk down into the ground and the lower part where Wm's name is at was not visible. Her grandparents, Wymer Petrey and Sarah Siler Petrey are buried next to her.

Sorry for the confusion.

RE: W Harp Memorial Transfer
Then your family and my husbands do have a link... Wymer and his wife Elizabeth Siler 1858-1911 were the grandparents of W.E and Sarah was their dau. who the first wife of Ulyssus Burnett Harp who was my husbands father. After Sarah died U.B. remarried several years later and raised a second family. Here is the line from Elizabeth Siler

Wm. K Siler 1830-1900 and Nancy Lawson 1835-1913

Adam Siler 1796-1821 and Mary Brock 1791-1881

Jacob O. Siler 1770-1839 and Rachel Teague 1772-

Plikard D. Siler, who was first Siler to come from Germany and his wife Elizabeth Hartsoe.

There is a Siler Book with all this info. You can also go to my husbands brother's tree and you will find a stone picture for Jacob O., wife and son.

RE: W Harp Memorial Transfer
Thank you very much. I though Wymer Petrey made the stone. Doesn't it say that at the bottom? Maybe I read it wrong. Wymer's wife was a Siler. Do you have any Silers in your Evans tree?
