Yes that sounds right. I love finding family! One can never have too many cousins (I think ha ha) :)

Christine Elizabeth Riford
Hello Lori,
I came across your flowers on Christine's grave that said that she is your 2x's great grandma. She is also my 2x's great grandma. I'm part of the Foster family. My grandma is Mary Foster. I wanted to say hello!

Hi there - Thanks for providing the date of birth for this memorial. Would you happen to know if there's a cemetery I could add as well? Thanks!

Wallbridge
I will try to get better photo's for you as well as other Wallbridge photo's next time I'm in Dunnville. Riverside Cemetery is indeed next to the river and when I went the mosquitos almost carried me away. I also read that James Wallbridge once lived in St.Catharines. I live in St.Catharines so if you need anything looked up at the library or any stones photographed in the area, just let me know

RE: Emery A. Wilber
If you have not ordered his Civil War pension file you should consider doing so. Many times there are notarized statements regarding marriages, births, etc. They can be an invaluable resource for your family research.

Yep, I looked at the Massachusetts Death Records, 1841-1915 and there is a certificate of death for him in West Springfield, Mass.

If you do not have access to this database let me know and I will post his DC on his memorial page so you can download it.

RE: Emery A. Wilber
I did check familysearch - no place of death is mentioned. You may not be aware that the District of Columbia issued a certificate of death for those who died out of state primarily for reasons relating to infectious diseases. It can be very confusing. The actual death certificate would list the place of death. The index does not.

RE: Emery A. Wilber
Thanks, Lori. Appreciate the feedback.

Yes, the new edit system can be difficult although the result is easy. You can see how the edits will look if you choose the selection - Edits I Have Sent That Are Pending - which is where I noticed if I sent the father, mother and spouse in three different edits that the later edits eliminated the first edit!

I always check my edits pending because many contributors also just enter the information manually and then my edit appears as No Change so I just delete them.

I will change the place of death to the District of Columbia and make a note in the bio section.

Find A Grave Memorial# 43839058

When you send corrections/additions be please certain they are accurate. You sent that he died in the District of Columbia. He did not.

You sent the edits for his parents separately which means if I accept the edit for his father his mother disappears. For future reference send both at the same time in the same edit or wait until the first edit has been accepted and then send the second edit for father or mother. I have to decline the edit for the father and add it manually otherwise the number for his mother will disappear.
