Bio and Links
Bio Photo I prefer to limit transfers to established, regular contributors to Find a Grave who demonstrate an understanding of the FAQs and purpose of the site. Please use the SAC function (edit button on memorial) to request transfers, and be sure to let me know specifically how you are related. If you are brand new here, welcome! Folks come and go often, and I like to make sure you're going to stick around and contribute regularly before I transfer. You may want to read the "help with Find a Grave" section to understand the purpose of the site.

I volunteer at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, and am working on photo-documenting the whole cemetery. At this point, I prefer not to transfer memorials for this cemetery (other than mandatory transfers, of course) because my research is ongoing. In the meantime, please feel free to send me as much additional info as you wish via the edit button on the memorial.

NOTE: Obituaries are a wonderful source of information, but findagrave has rules about how they may be used. You can always glean facts from them for the bio. If they are out of copyright, or if you hold the copyright, you can transcribe them. Regardless of who has the copyright, you are not supposed to post them as a photograph - regardless of whether you scanned it, took a screen shot, or downloaded it from another website. Please feel free to send me obit text via the edit function, and I will use the info to add to the bio. Obits posted as photos will be removed, and it just ends up wasting your time.

Florizel von Reuter
Thank you for sending me the information on Florizel von Reuter. I have sent an email to Find A Grave to see if he qualifies as a famous person.

RE: Florizel Reuter
He does sound like he was an interesting guy. I wonder how they ended up in Waukesha. I found out where his mom and dad are buried (well, not his mom, but I found an article about her death in Berlin) and asked that the creator of Florizel's memorial link them.

There were actually quite a few newspaper articles about Florizel & Marguerite (who didn't adopt the "von" in her last name) in the Waukesha Freeman (and other newspapers, especially Iowa). If you can access Newspaper Archives, you might enjoy them.

RE: Nunn / Munn
Lol. I agree. Different death dates suggests different men but I have found duplicates where burial date and death date are used as death date. Unless or until we find famt members no way of knowing. I have a positive list of ALL Munn's on the Union side. W.F. ways definitely Confederate. The 66th was only in GA and were Confederate. Still searching. :-0

RE: WF Munn - Oakland
Yes it could be an error. I sent you another message. I am searching for the info I found before. Munn was often Num, Mun, McMunn all kinds of ways. The site I sent also has AKA's.
