My wife, Diane, and I are both retired educators. Growing up in the Jefferson County community of Pleasure Ridge Park (PRP), KY, we both attended PRP High School. Diane and I have been married for 47 years, have two adult children and currently reside in Shelbyville, KY.|
Diane was a church preschool/kindergarten director in Shelbyville, KY for 17 years. Prior to that she was a daycare director.
I was a teacher and administrator in the public schools for 37 years, 33 of those years in the Anderson County School System in Lawrenceburg, KY. I also served as a basketball coach for a number of years.
One of our retirement hobbies is our family
history/genealogy. Consequently, most of the memorials we have created and/or maintain on Find A Grave are family.
We are always glad to get corrections and/or additional information in regard to members of our families who came before us. We are also willing to help others whenever we can.
Genealogy is all about sharing and learning. The more we share, the more we learn.

|Larry||Elizabeth Snavely Sutton.|
Hi Wayne and Diane and thank you for adding Elizabeth Snavely Sutton to findagrave, she is a distant cousin.
If I may. The virtual flowers you left with a note: "Elizabeth Louise Snavely Sutton daughter of Jacob Sutton and Elizabeth M. Yearly".
Elizabeth was the daughter of Jacob Snavely (not Sutton).
Thanks again and take care.

Thank you for your Stephens work on Find A Grave.
I am at a brickwall with my 3rd Great-Grandmother, Permelia Amelia "Mealie" Stephens Bridges. Of course, I have seen an number of variations on her last name in my years of research.
I am wondering if she fits into your Stephens line. Or if you might have any information that might help me.
She is Memorial# 112342392.

memorial and corrected it. Would you please check
and make sure it is as suppose to be. Those to Cemetery's on paper can be confusing. If you see any errors, please let me know. Do not mind correcting.
|ancestryspn||RE: Carmelite Hall|
I added the photo with notes as you suggested. Thanks.
Hi. I have a photo of a stone for the Carmalite Hall that is apparently buried in the Lawrence Family Cemetery. However, this stone is in the cemetery where Richard Clough Anderson is buried in the Hurstbourne neighborhood. Do you know that she is definitely buried in that cemetery?

Walter Duncan's Memorial , I have found a duplicate that I was not aware of . The Original
is Memorial # 126591241 by Jane Lane.
I have deleted mine but thought you might want to put another picture in on Jane's Memorial.
I am very sorry for any trouble this has caused you.
you all have a great day thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave
have been made. Be sure they are in the guide lines. These were not. Thanks!!!
