Bio and Links
Bio Photo Diane and I are both retired educators. We grew up in the Jefferson County community of Pleasure Ridge Park (PRP), KY which is now a part of Metro Louisville. Married for 46 years, we currently reside in Shelby County, KY.

Diane was a church preschool/kindergarten director in Shelbyville, KY for 17 years. Prior to that she was a daycare director.

I was a teacher, administrator and basketball coach in the public schools for 37 years, 33 of those years in the Anderson County School System in Lawrenceburg, KY.

One of our retirement hobbies is our family
history/genealogy. Consequently, most of the memorials we have created and/or maintain on Find A Grave are family.

We are always glad to get corrections and/or additional information in regard to members of our families who came before us. We are also willing to help others whenever we can.

Genealogy is all about sharing and learning. The more we share, the more we learn.

Transfer made
I'm making transfers as I can get to them, let me know the rest of your family you might like to have. I always intended to get back to them and see what I could find to add, an obit or census info, but... life happens. Thanks for requesting. Darla

Henry Neal, Davis Cemetery
Hi, I noticed you had added a very nice photo for Mr. Henry Neal buried in Davis Cemetery in Strunk, McCreary County, KY. If this is some family of yours or something of that nature please let me know and I will happily transfer the memorial to you if you like.

Berthena Wilson Gilreath
I have been asked to remove my memorial of Berthena Wilson (# 84323012) in the Pleasant Run Cemetery. Mine is a duplicate of Berthena Catherine Baker Gilreath (# 44239125). Before I delete my memorial, would you want to move your photo over to the other memorial? I didn't want to delete the memorial without letting you know first. Thanks.

RE: William Mieure
I should have added Joseph Francois Oneille's vital info. He was born 1758 in Quebec to Pierre Onel and Marie Joseph Chandonne. There is one reference that he was a Silversmith. He was appointed assessor in Vincennes in 1815. His brother, Antoine, was a Silversmith who crafted the Francis Vigo silver which is held at Grouseland in Vincennes.I haven't found his exact death date. His probate was in 1817 and it is thought he died in 1816. There was no inventory of his house hold as he didn't trust lawyers. He and Victoire had two children. Joseph and Marie Anne.

Victoria Oneille
Wayne, Victoria Oneille was Victoiré Delisle, born 3 April 1788 in Vincennes. She married Joseph Oneille on 25 Aug, 1809 (one record says December) and they had two children, Joseph b. 1811 and Marie Anne b. 1815. Joseph was appointed Accessor in the Burough of Vincennes and died sometime between 1816 to 1817. His estate was probated in 1817 but he didn't trust lawyers so there was no will or inventory. He was the son of Pierre Onel born in Quebec in 1858 and Victoria was the daughter of Charles Delisle.

My 5 X greatgrandmother as well. I am also a retired teacher. Seems to be a job that runs in the family.
