Bio and Links
Bio Photo My researching of family began, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, when my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.

I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much of the information that is available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.

The surnames I am searching and recording;
from my paternal side are:
Gibson, Keller, Miller, Ploehs, Reed and Walkinshaw
&
from my maternal side, they are:
Beamer, Cunningham, Nelson, Peterson, Park, Parke, Parks, Perrell, Snow and Wiseman

On my husband's tree there are the following:
Mutscher, Oldendorf, vonGunden,

For those who wonder...
Why the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created?
This is due to some generous F*A*G contributors who decided to transfer some of their memorials to myself and others.
Thank you...
I feel honored to be one of the recipients entrusted to care for these postings.

Lenore Margaret Kendig Nicolin
Hello,Marcia,

I was just going thru my Ancestry and Find A Grave sites and found this memorial. I was wondering how you are related to Lenore (Maggie)? Her father Charles E Kendig was my paternal great grandfather. His son Henry Quincy Kendig was my paternal grandfather. would love to exchange info with you. Do you possibly know Charles E Kendig --middle name?? what does the E stand for??

I had thought that charles e had died before the 1900's, then ran across the newspaper article in Ohio thru research and see that he married Margaret Gaughan and had three more children.

and as always love pictures. Do not have any of Charles E.
anxious to hear from you

William Brown at Ellisn Cem.
I am going to add a picture of William Brown's stone and I thought I should tell you that it says he died July 23, 1884. I hate to send these messages - so much work goes into these markers!

Laurence Lynn Nuckolls memorial #85479482
Hi,
I believe that there is an error on Laurence Lynn Nuckolls's list of spouses. What is listed on the memorial is:
Married Helen Irene Kerwood d. 1971 NM
13 Dec 1944 IN
Father of two children;
1 son & ?
***************************
1949 Lawrence Eugene
Divorced 05 Jan 1950 Calhoun Co, MI

I have a copy of a marriage & divorce record that shows that Laurence Lynn Nuckolls married Helen I Vosler in December 1944 in Indiana and they divorced in January 1950 in Michigan.They had two children.

The name of the Kerwood that I found who died in NM in 1971 was Eleanor Lucille b. 1915 in Illinois

Just thought you would like to know.
