. . . . we blossom and flourish, like leaves on a tree, then wither and perish; but naught changeth thee.

I am a 'Connecter' more than a 'Collector'. Each grave memorial is created for an individual, yet it can not stand alone. Linking folks to family is as important as finding where they lie, for their true identity is more than a name, date, and resting place, it is ultimately defined by their relationship to their people.

I've been trying to find something on S.D.E. Boone to get more clues as to the identity, but thus far have come up with nothing. I apologize for not communicating this with you that I have been working on it. You should know that by all appearances this is not a 6 month old child's grave. I've photographed many above ground crypt's for children (photographed several yesterday in another cemetery). But this is a large crypt that appears to be for a full grown person or at the very least a teenager. The next time I'm out that way, I'll take a tape measure.
I hope you understand I don't want to change the memorial to identity the child unless you have found something that positively identifies that crypt as Sarah. However, I be happy to place the information that you sent in the bio as to who you think the identity might be. In the meantime, if you have found anything that supports that this is truly the grave of the 6 month old Sarah, please let me know.

Hope you can hear me cheering wherever you are. There was a delete tab and I used it and the phantom is no more ( I hope)
Hope you are having a wonderful day

There is no "delete' tab on Jessie's page. Searching for 131644755 still gets me to James H Quay, I wonder what would happen if you transfer this page back to me, if then I might be able to delete it? If that does not work then perhaps I should contact Find A Grave and request that they remove this page. They did delete my entries for that cemetery and now I have resubmitted the spreadsheet and it is up. Looks like they got everybody this time.

My turn to thank you for your patience. Please do delete the phantom and I will re-enter Pearle with the correct info.
I feel for the staff at Find A Grave , this mess must be giving them nightmares

I do not see him listed in Mennie cemetery but my guess is that you added him at the same instant that I submitted Mennie cemetery and the 2 got merged
The message they sent to me mentioned the 60 names I had added but when you look at Mennie cemetery you will see there are only 31 names there. I have no idea where the extra 29 came from or even where they are. I will 'transfer' him to you and hope this resolves 1 problem. I had messages from others with similar 'happenings' from that day , I have asked Find A Grave to remove the file I submitted and I hope they will do that asap and that it resolves the other 28 situations. I would not like to be on their staff trying to wade through the mess the attack caused. I now know of 5 other genealogical sites that were also attacked on the same day and are now struggling to get things right again

I will take a close look at what happened. Ancestry, Find a Grave and others were attacked last week. I added folks in Mennie cemetery saw them listed there then 5 minutes later they were all gone, and then they came back. I will look into it and get back to you asap. Possibly tomorrow ( Tuesday)
I think I will ask them to remove the spreadsheet I submitted and resubmit as I did NOT make any links
I suspect they will be inundated with similar requests!
Most genealogical sites were inaccessible to us in Northern Alberta for a few days last week and even now are temperamental!

Do you have a Marriage Cert. for Abraham Reagor and Elizabeth Lacy. Just trying to prove their relationship...

Hi, I'm working on this Bearden/Langston line, and wondering if you can give me the source of marriage information form Nancy Wynn Langston to Eli M. Bearden. So far I have had no luck in finding original documents. Also, this Nancy gets easily confused with Nancy ANN Langston (b. c. 1750) who married Eli's father John William Bearden, Jr. (b. 1744). I appreciate any clues you can give me to point me towards something concrete regarding the marriage! Thanks so much.

I have a picture of Martha Elizabeth Potts' tombstone in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
"Martha Elisabeth, wife of J. H. Potts born July ??"
Is this the same? Will post the picture later.
