Good find. I moved the memorial to Campground
|Marion Laster||Asennath Littrell Jones|
Subject is buried in the Cane Creek Cemetery of Obion County, TN. She is the wife of James Earl Jones, not his daughter. This should be corrected on His and her Find A Grave memorials.

Thanks! I will add the info to the photos when I put them on ancestry. We hope to make another trip to Martin but probably not until Spring. We plan to spend a couple of days at the university library going thru microfilm.
|Bonnie Waters||Newsom Cemetery|
Would it be ok with you if I used your photos from Newsom on my ancestry pages? Everyone buried there are kin to me. We have tried for 3 years to find that place! Thanks, Bonnie

Thanks for approving my recent edit. George A. Ward was a brother to my great-grandmother, Pennie, and we have always spelled his middle name ALMUS instead of ALMAS. Pennie named her son and my grandfather, William Almus. Just curious as to where you found this spelling...so many old records just have initials. I do appreciate your making the photo and adding this memorial!

Hi, Michael! THANK YOU for your contributions to Find-A-Grave! They are invaluable! I am researching my ex-husband's heritage for my grown daughter...and, you either manage or have added many of the Cashon family - and, for that, I am very grateful! THANKS, AGAIN!
That being said - I saw the request you'd made of Delaine Carr to remove one of the duplicate pics off of Dennis Dorsey Carr's memorial site. I had also asked, back in 2013, for her to make a link for William Carter Cashon's memorial to be linked to his parents' memorials - and, it did not happen. I looked at her messages and do not see any activity on them past 2014 - so, she may be an inactive member.
Just thought I'd let you know. Thanks, again, for all you've added!
Take Care - and, let me know if I might be able to help-out in any way! I'll be happy to!

I'm sorry to say I have no info on the family I'm
glad you found her marriage in Michigan I'll check that out, or if you have a link would you please send it to me. I do know that James was married before we were married and had one child. I found out after he died.he has a sister that lived in Lansing Michigan in the 1970s for a while her name was Maxine Marlinga. I think i spelled it right I haven't found out anything more.
