PLEASE NOTE: Currently moving so have not been keeping up with FaG as soon as I am settled into our new place will reply to messages and be back up to speed. Thank you for your understanding and patience!|
Nearly all of the memorials I have entered and flowers left are somehow related to our family, if you happen to be related would love to hear from you.
I am currently working on trying to locate the final resting place of all the men who were part of the First Special Service Force, aka Devil's Brigade or Black Devils. In July 2013, the Congressional Gold Medal was awarded, collectively, to the First Special Service Force, in recognition of its superior service during World War II.
Most memorials I have created in CT cemeteries are not family and happy to transfer to family.

Please forgive my tardy reply. I am not related to the Welch family.

I went to the cemetery to check the lot & monument
He does not have a military marker (either separate or attached to the monument). However, I did add a closeup of his name on the monument he shares with his wife Dorothy

Yes, of course, you may use it. It's not necessary to give me credit for the pic though. Glad I could help!
|JPK||RE: H Barnett|
Yes, feel free to use the photo. I allow others to copy and use any of my Find A Grave photographs for their own use.
Note the wife, Ethel, must have remarried....the headstone shows BARNETT but the cemetery lists her as Ethel MULLENNIX.

I have claimed your request on Find A Grave.
I have some information that may be helpful; getting an obit and possibly getting info from the mortuary.
If you will write me I will send it to you.

I flew to Allentown Pa to take pictures of veterans. I ended up taking 4000 pictures of everyone. Yes you can use my picture. It took me 2 hours to find the Arbogast headstone, so i kept taking pictures. 95 per cent of the pictures have not been listed yet. Chuck
