As expressed below: THANK YOU for all of the work that many of you have done - because I love to LINK!!!|
Research has become an addiction - a good one! My primary field of interest is the history of the upper Pecos, New Mexico. This is a canyon north of Pecos, New Mexico that extends into the Pecos Wilderness. Because "people" make up most of our historical events, I like to know as much about each person involved as possible. This leads me into the field of genealogy. I enjoy writing and have authored a book: Mountain View Ranch 1915-1945, which is the history of a dude ranch at Cowles, New Mexico.
In the course of "wandering" thru the cemeteries, I decided that I needed my very own signature flower. I couldn't make up my mind, so I have chosen two: the yellow Pecos Mariposa Lily and the beautiful Blue Columbine, both of which grow in the high mountains of New Mexico. The photos were taken by my research friend (!!) Karen. Thank you for the use of the photos and your expertise!
PS - I enjoy being able to link existing memorials that YOU have made. I send a sincere Thank You to those of you who have made the additions I have sent via SAC's!!!

Are you related to Robert G and Minnie Lee McAllister? I am a great granddaughter of Robert.

I am a Vermont Civil war buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties to Vt. May I use the photo you contributed to the memorial page of Isaac Winsor, and any other that you took that had ties to Vt. to post on the Vt. Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)?
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for your work in New Mexico. Most of the graves, I imagine, are not very well kept since they reside in ghost towns. Your work is invaluable to people like me,who are trying to locate relatives who traveled West. Not many New Mexico records are available online.

You have him listed in Mountain Home Cemetery and he should be in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Would you move him to the correct cemetery please? Just go to burial "edit" and type in Grand Prairie Cemetery. That will move the memorial and save all your work. Thanks
