I do transfer memorials (unless special to me) any memorial a contributor chooses to SPONSOR!
I transfer ONLY within Find A Grave guidelines (4th generation). I also ignore requests for bulk transfers.
Find A Grave is an amazing website! Because of Find A Grave TWO amazing cousins located me One after many years the other I never knew existed! Now we have virtual Family Reunions from across the county. Thanks Find A Grave!!!!!!!!
Thank goodness FOR GPS! For many years Weve had GPS on our vehicles and phones! When you have GPS you can always find and/or prove where your phones and/or vehicles were/are at any given SECOND! GPS also assists in locating cemeteries and grave sites.
If you want or need to add something to one of the memorials I created PLEASE click on the edit tab at the top of the memorial's page. Some folks might not realize you can add or edit family links, names, dates, etc. etc. This feature was added some time ago. Sure makes it easier on those of us who VOLUNTEER! I check for edits at least twice a day even if im busy with my husband!
Those who feel no pride in their ancestors, is unworthy to be remembered by their descendants-

If you go to Our Lady of Mount Carmel on find a grave, I did take pictures of the unmarked graves with flowers or crosses on them. I named them all as Unknown. I am not a member of the church, and I don't know who to talk to about the unmarked graves. I wish there was some way of letting the church know about the $25.00 headstones. I may go and talk to Hansen's since they are the people who usually handle the burials here. Thank you for all your help.

Thanks! I have found 12 grave sites with plastic flowers or a small wooden cross, but no names, and there are 33 people who are supposed to be buried there but I can't find their headstones. The cemetery is less then a quarter mile from my home, I can see it from my house. Did you know that Michael Moriarty is buried there? It's so sad, when I found it, it was 90% covered by a tree, bushes and dirt. That cemetery was donated to the church by Mr. Moriarty. I would say a good half of the cemetery is headstone that were made by hand and alot have info painted on them. After a year here at 6300 ft, the sun and wind fade them. I want to go to the church and tell them there is a place that with make a headstone for $25.00. I just don't want to offend anyone. Do you live near Moriarty?

I am not a family member, but I have taken pictures of all the head stones in that cemetery. There is 5 or 6 where you can tell someone is buried there, but no head stone. Do you know where Mr. Brewer is buried? I hate the fact that there are no makers on these graves. Thanks for your help.

Find A Grave Memorial #52460692. I've gone in to Edit and put the correct name for the woman listed on the headstone. Mary Ann Scott was attached to Sallie B. Calloway in Tenaha, Shelby Co., Texas
|Dana Wheeler||Mary Ann Scott|
You have Mary A Scott attached to a grave that says Calloway. Is this a mistake or did she remarry and change her name?

Thank you so much for the transfer! I wasn't expecting a transfer but sponsored the memorial since she was a dear friend to the family, but this means alot to me. Thanks again!
|Ferret||Ida Henrietta Curtis Ballantyne|
Mother: Henrietta Von Roeder # 51921252
Father: Reuben Curtis # 51424566
Ida is NOT married to Reuben Curtis (her father). Reuben Curtis first married Henrietta Von Roeder, their child was Ida Henrietta Curtis. Reuben's wife Henrietta Von Roeder then died. After his wife died, Reuben Curtis married his wife's sister, Caroline Van Roeder. The birth certificate you have posted on Ida's memorial has the correct information. I apologize if this is still not clear.

I need someone to photograph my mother and step dad's marker in the north flush at the Lovington Cemetery. The picture on her memorial page is of the front gates to the cemetery but when I try to request a photo, it says only one picture per memorial is allowed. Is there some way to remove that picture and request a picture of the marker? She is buried with my step dad Harrell Von Tanner.

Do you still take pictures for this cemetery?
