Even though FindAGrave has posted rules for copying and posting photos, I am giving you permission to copy any photos you might like for your genealogy research.|
If YOU ask, and I take it, then I consider the photo YOURS too. I am happy to contribute to your search.
Some of the cemeteries I have visited have been vandalized or left to Mother Nature. I have no objection to someone adding better quality photos or a photo of a stone after restoration. Any information to help a fellow genealogist is appreciated
P.S. Thank you for the edits and additions. I want to make sure all info is correct!
added note: To all who fulfill my own photo requests: I include your memorial number on my Ancestry tree so all credit will lead back to you.
another note: Depending on the date, I sometimes include a stone with no death date. I had a gentleman contact me thanking me for including the stone of his mother, still living, but he had been looking for her and decided to try looking on FindAGrave to see if she had a memorial. He was so grateful. So, dead or alive, people are looking for their loved ones, and FindAGrave is a help to all.

CM Reed, I just wanted to add some info for Richard Arney. He was the adopted son of Rosemary Stuart and Kenneth Howard Arney, who are buried next to him. He was a 1984 graduate of Jennings County High School. He always wanted to know who is birth mother was, but died before ever finding out. Richard and I married November 22, 1986. We had no children. There was a picture on the front of his tombstone that someone stole and never returned. Richard was a very special person and is missed by all who knew him. Tammy Morris Arney Fields

CM, My comment was not to hurt anyone. If I hurt someone, I apologize. Its been so long since I put that correction in, I don't even have a clue which Eliza Griffith it is. There are 600 plus Eliza Griffiths listed on Find A Grave. If I remember correctly it was a child but I cannot for the life of me find it. I do appreciate what you do because I do the very same and know how conscientious we are about our work. I do believe what you say about children being married but I have never actually seen or read where 1 of mine was and if that had been the case, that would make me absolutely sick to my stomach! That is horrible and an awful thing to do to a little girl. I would have to put a devil picture up for any man who would do something like that. Could you remind me which Eliza Griffith and what cemetery she was in please? Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to me and I appreciate your willingness to give us permission! I will need to wait until my article is accepted by the publication and photos are selected. In the meantime, could you tell me which link you are referring to? Of course your name would be listed.

Hello CM Reed,
I was delighted to find your photo of Thomas Hancock's grave at the Muscatatuck cemetery. I am doing some research related to Mr. Hancock and would possibly be interested in reproducing your photo in an educational publication.
May I get in touch with you at some time as I have details as to the proposed publication, and is this the best way to reach you?

Could you tell me exactly where the Eastman Cemetery in Jennings County, Indiana is? I saw your pictures of the cemetery. Is it inside Country Squire Lakes? One map I have says it's next to the Judd Cemetery on Crabapple Court in CSL, but when I looked at your pictures, it didn't look like it was. Thanks.

I would be very interested in taking over management of my father's grave record. I was there with him when he died but when I attempted to add his grave to this site it wouldn't let me because I was unable to add the cemetery name. His grave is all I have left of him and it would mean very much to me. Thank you. Cindy Davis email@example.com

Did you get the birth and death dates for Mary (Donaldson Cemetery) from the tombstone or somewhere else? Are you related to Nathan Reed (1826-1896)?
