Hi! My name is Carolyn, I am retired. I have been researching my Family Tree for thirty years. I think it is important to know your ancestors. I have been concentrating on my mother's side of the family. This includes the Broussard's, Carr's, Hargraves' and Hamshire's. I have been taking pictures of graves in southeast Texas cemeteries: Broussard's, Landrum, Fairview, High Island, Port Bolivar, Caplen, LaBelle, Pace and McGaffey in Sabine Pass, Restlawn in Vidor, Evergreen in Orange, Magnolia and Forest Lawn in Beaumont. This is Jefferson, Chambers, Galveston and Orange Counties. I have over 2,452 photos, and some are not related. If I have made any errors please contact me and I will gladly correct it. I have spent many, many hours researching. I am looking for George Washington Hargrave's, Matilda Hampshire Hargraves, and Levi Carr's graves if you can help me I would appreciate it.|
I am working on my father's side of the family now. I am looking for Jeff Taylor. My grandfather. Also, Moorman, my grandmother's maiden name and her mother was a Rivers. If you have any information on these names, please email me.
Enjoy my research! Thank you. Carolyn

Hi Carolyn (or should I say: Cousin Carolyn!),
First, thank you for posting a photo of my grandfather's grave, Orin Karl Hargraves. I never met him because he died so young, long before I was born, but I am Orin the III.
Could you tell me: what is the source of your birthdate for him? I have 1891 in my database, but I don't have a firm source for it.
I will be intersted to know your Hargraves lineage. I expect we're 3rd or 4th cousins.
I was wondering if in any of your research you have come across the father for Ronald Broussard. Ron is my first cousin and I am just curious who his father was.
Thanks for the transfer of this memorial. It was very nice of you to do that and I appreciate your work on Find a Grave.

Hi Carolyn, May I have your permission to use your photos, that pertain to my family, in my Ancestry Tree? I always give credit to the photographer of any photo I use. Thanks wrmcferrin

rec'd your message. I'm sorry, but I'm a little confused with your reply. I don't quite understand the "transfer".
Is it information concerning Elizabeth? My grandmother (Illa Estelle Hankamer born in 1914) spoke to me about a step-mother she despised...could be the same person. She never told me her name.
Lydia divorced John Hankamer and remarried a man named Ed Rohwedder, and died in 1928. As far as John and his 2nd wife having any children, I'm unaware of them. Lydia's gravesite is listed as Lydia Ethel Rohwedder on this website. She's buried in the Cunnigham cemetery in Fred, Texas.
If you have information about Elizabeth, I would be interested in finding out.
Thank you for your response.

I would like to thank you for the info on my great grandfather. I noticed your note of his spouse being Elizabeth. He 1st marriage was to Lydia Ethel Gore. She remarried a man with the last name Rowhedder. Elizabeth was my grandmother's stepmother.
