I was born in Riverside, Burlington County New Jersey and spent much of my first ten years there. My father died in WWII having never seen me. My step-father was in the Navy so we spent a lot of time traveling around. I graduated from high school at the Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, joined the Navy in 1961, came out to California in 1963 and have been here ever since. I have been married twice, have three children and eleven grandchildren. My second wife Sandy and I have known each other since we were five years old and have been married since 2006. I have been doing my family genealogy since 2010 and a member of Find A Grave for three+ years now.|
I am interested in families in the Philadelphia and Burlington County, NJ areas with last names of Freck/Frech (originally from Germany mid 1800s), Broderson/Brodersen (Denmark), Stecher (originally from Germany mid 1800s) and Hirst, originally from England. Hirst were prominent in the cigar business in Philadelphia. Additionally, I am working on my wife's family, Wetherell and Goodwin in New Hampshire.
If you see a picture of a gravestone I have taken and want to use it, by all means copy it and use as needed. If you see a family members memorial that I have created and you would like to manage it, just ask.

I just added some photos of graves of people with the last name of Hirst in the Philadelphia area:

Dear Dean, Thank-you very much for fulfilling my photo request. I am handicapped so walking cemeteries is something I can't do. I am truly grateful for your willingness to walk them for me and so many others. I also appreciate your generosity with your MANY photos. You are why I love Find A Grave! Thank-you again, Joni
I want you to know I am not ignoring your requests for changes. I recently had surgery and I'm not recovering very well. When I am feeling better I will make the changes. Thanks for your understanding.
Cheers - Kathie
You are in charge of Emelia's memorial #110157329. In it, you wrote her mother's name was also Banducci. Do you have any photos, or any further information about her?
She is my granddaughter's 2x great-grandmother, and we are seeking stories..

|Bob Speckman||RE: Virgie Hake|
I found Emma's middle name (and Virgie's) spelled Lorene - but the source is not primary so you probably have it right with Loraine. I think Isaac is also probably correct - my same source gave Isade, easily a mis-read for Isaac.
I've found Emma's husband (Virgie's dad) as Daniel Scott Thomas - born March 20, 1903 in Arkansas and died Nov 14, 1988 in Bakersfield, CA. There were at least two other children: Agnes born about 1924 in Eufaula, OK and Pauline born abt 1929 in OK. I believe Daniel Scott Thomas was the son of Marshall A. Thomas born about 1852 in Missouri and Virgie Carter born abt 1878 in Arkansas. Daniel Scott was the oldest child and his siblings were Charles, Rosie, Jack, George and Susie.
The stone marking the Caverhill graves is Caverhill only on one side, the other side is Moore/Black. I thought you should know.
Did you receive the obituaries I sent?

|Zuzu*s Petals||RE: Potters Field|
Yes, I have done them and some others sporadically throughout Potter's Field. I had been working on it until my Mother's Alzheimer's got so bad that she couldn't be left alone. Since her death I have moved back home to Utah and am glad to see there is still work being done on it.
Cheers - Kathie
|Michelle Donati||Wetherell - Calvary in Newmarket?|
Hi Dean. I'm looking at your request for a photo of the Wetherell grave in Newmarket. I live in nearby Newfields, NH. You list the cemetery as "new market" and I wonder if you might mean the Calvary Cemetery in Newmarket. Do you happen to know if she was likely Catholic? If so, Cavary wod be a good place to check. If you learn that she was buried at Calvary in Newmarket, I can take a photo for you.
