Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Butte, MT where the history is as rich as the copper, gold, silver and zinc that was mined from these mountains. The ethnic heritage brought by the miners and their families has created a genealogical treasure equal to the "Richest Hill on Earth".

If I have added one of your family members, please feel free to request a transfer of management. All photos posted are for the requesting person's genealogical use public or private. No credit is required.

George Pascoe and descendants
I am researching my wife's family and she is related to George Pascoe who settled in Montana he had Alice (Pearson) and Mary (Harrison). Alice had Esther Neifert, Dorothy Ackerman, Alice Nicholls and Fred Pearson. Mary had George W Harrison. If you are any relation I would love to hear from you. george Pascoe had a brother named Thomas Pascoe. Thomas is Ina book called "Great Men of California".

You recently sent me several edits for Catharine. I know nothing of her and entered her information from a listing of children buried at that cemetery. Since you live in the area I would be happy to transfer her memorial to your care. That way you can more information as you find it. Would you like the transfer?

RE: HERMAN J. McLELLAN - HOLY CROSS CEMETERY
Thank you. Thomas A. Stears is not an immediate family member. Looks like he was born in Missouri and died in Tacoma, Washington in 1954.

RE: HERMAN J. McLELLAN - HOLY CROSS CEMETERY
Thank you very much for the photo of the McLellan headstone. And also thank you for all of the photos of the headstones for Clyde, Doris, William, Charles and Mary Stears! That was quite a surprise!!

Also I processed the edits you sent giving each of their burial plot locations. Thanks for those.

Yes Herman Jacob McLellan was a younger brother of Fred E. McLellan. I don't have him in my tree but I can see him in records on Ancestry. The Ancestry records say he was born 7 Jan 1885 in New Brunswick, Canada. He died 22 May 1945 in Deer Lodge County, Montana.

I am glad I was able to do it for you. The person in the back ground is a cemetery worker holding the flowers out of the way. It is very windy here and over cast. and wasn't for sure how it would turn out if you need any retakes just let me know. Sparky.
