William S Waldrop -
Do you know the names of the parents? Trying to decide if he is the son of John T Waldrop from Georgia. The William we are looking for was born same year but there's a conflict in birth month.
Any additional facts you know would be helpful.
Please transfer him to me

Diane, I just realized that we have spoken to each other on Ancestry.com -- what a small world. Plus, we are related! Thank you for helping me, and you know I will take good care of my relatives; because I want future generations to have correct information and to know the reason behind any corrections... That way, there is absolutely no doubt. You are so nice, which makes our conversations so enjoyable. Best Regards, Jan

Thank you for your reply, Diane. Linton Lamar Adamson is my Uncle. And his given name is Linton Lamar. It is incorrect on his headstone. I asked my cousin, Linda James Farley, who lives in Atlanta, who took care of the headstone because Aunt Laverne, his wife, had died earlier -- she did not know. Anyway, I do not want you to transfer your information to me because it is incorrect and I am going to add the other eight siblings to my uncle's info. My daddy was the eldest of the nine children. But thank you ever so much for your reply and offer. However, I do not want his name to continue as Lamar Linton when in fact his name given to him by his parents was Linton Lamar. He was called Lamar, as most people in the South used their middle name during that period of time. Thank you. Jan Adamson
