RE: Thank you for photo - Clayton
There were no other names on the stone other than his and there were no other Clayton's in the vicinity.

Roberta Shaw, Central Cemetery, Carver, Mass.
Hi Tracy:
I noticed that you have a photo request for
Roberta Shaw who died in 2009, buried Central
Cemetery, Carver, Mass.
I looked in the area where her husband Lawrence is
buried but did not find a monument for Roberta.
Her husband Lawrence has a ground marker which is
in a Shaw family burial area. There is a obelisk
within this burial area with many names on all
four sides, but I did not see Roberta's name nor
her husband Lawrence, but he does have the ground
marker and none was found for Roberta. There is
an empty space next to Lawrence's ground marker
so I think Roberta is buried there. What do you think? Would you like me to add a photo to Roberta's memorial showing the obelisk and the
other ground markers?
Take Care,

Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are working to clear the more than 730 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

James Farley
Grave of Danny Palmer
Hello Tracy:
My name is James Farley. While looking around Findagrave I came across Dannys Grave. Although I am not a relative I have memories of a strong young man picking me up and tossing me in the air and catching me as I came down. I would laugh and scream and I must have been three or four years old. This was in Lake Placid, New York, and the place was his aunt Jennie Wilkins home on Sentinel Road. My mother was a friend of Aunt Jennie and when she was on the way to the store, pulling me in my wagon, she would often stop to chat.
Many years went by and I suddenly, sometime in my teen years, remembered this occurance. When I asked my motherr who the man was she told me it was Danny and he had been killed in the war.
It wasn't until recently, through the miracle of the internet, that I was able to learn more about this American Hero. I did this through a website 'Northern New York Historical Newspapers." A map appears and one clicks on Essex County. When the newspapers come up press on Lake Placid News. When his name is entered persue the different articles. His wife was presented with the bronze star for his heroic actions in saving some of his men.
Thank you so much for providing me with a chance to see his stone. I am 72 now with poor vision and I certinly would never get to the gravesite. If you wish to contac me I can be reached at 610-285-2699 Thanks again
Jim Farley Fogelsville, Pa.
