Bio Photo I have been working on my family genealogy for about 27 years and enjoy helping others in the process. What a great website we have here to be able to help others with their research and bringing so many families together in the process.

Under the "EDIT" key: You can Suggest a correction or provide additional information for any entry that I have made. Please send over the Parents and Spouse links on this also. You can also ask for a transfer under the EDIT key, then I have your ID # and can easily do the transfer for you.

I would be happy to transfer ownership of a record that I have added, if they are family and have more information that they would like to add.

Thank you for all the flowers and notes that have been added to the memorials that I have posted.

Smith Family in Winchester
Cheryl
I have been reading the Smith burials in Winchester. I appreciate the information you have added to them.
I am related to the Philip, Daniel, and Sam Smiths.
Their sister, Mary Catherine Smith Johnson was my grandmother.
I would be most interested in learning what other information you might have on these family lines.
I had met a number of these family members in the past and they were interesting people.
I am currently trying to write a history of this line.
Regards,
Everett B Ireland CG (ret)

Duplications
Greetings. Donna Stewart has been working on sorting out the memorials for Oakland Cemetery and Rosedale Cemetery. I apparently entered memorials for my grandparents and aunt in Rosedale when they should have been entered in Oakland. When I changed them it created duplicates of three memorials since you had already created them for Oakland. Charles W. Martin, Harriett Foley Martin, Sarah Moody Housel Martin. Any suggestions about how to merge these memorials? Thanks for your help. Larry Sr.

Mark Cartier
John M. and Molly Heynen
Hi,
My name is Mark Andrew Cartier and I live in Aurora, Illinois. John was my g.grand Uncle. His sister Anna Maria was my grandmother. She married John Joseph Card, also from Decatur, but they moved up to Aurora in 1921 for work. My dad mentioned John and Molly whenever he talked about the family down in Decatur. Are you related to Molly? I always thought her maiden name was Behrens? I was also told that molly was a nickname for Amollia? If you get a chance, let me know. Andy

Hogg family
Cheryl,

Thank you for the taking the time to create these memorials. In my search for Hogg family members I have found 2 memorials in the Glen cemetery in Paxton, Ford Co, Illinois that you created that have raised some questions for me.

The Nancy Witherspoon Scroggs memorial says she was married to William Hogg who died in 1834. I believe this is a reference to the William Hogg buried in the Poland Center Cemetery, in Mahoning Co, Ohio. But also in Glen Cemetery you have Elizabeth Cabet Hogg McCracken. Her memorial says her parents were Thomas Hogg and Nancy Witherspoon.

So my question is whether Nancy was married to William or Thomas Hogg, or both? and I'm curious about your source material for either of these memorials.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

PONSLER
Thank you for transferring Charles Ponsler to me. I have been enjoying putting together the family of my paternal grandmother. Her mother Caroline Ponsler died unwed at her birth. Thankfully she knew about her Ponsler family since the family who adopted her as an infant lived in the same area.
