Update
I have submitted a request that Wm. Sylvester Robbins be removed as Mrs. Nations' father. Some believe her father was a Winningham, though this is solely anecdotal.

RE: William Sylvester Robbins
Yes, ma'am. It is obvious to all of us that the last-born 2 children---Ann/Alma Belle & U.S. Grant Robbins couldn't have been his. I'm not at all convinced that they're definitely even borne of Mary Ann, as she had a daughter well-known for having children out of wedlock by var. fathers---even by her sister's husband. By & large, others assumed care of these children; my thought is that the children could have actually been Mary Ann's grandchildren, passed off as her children. War widows did have children, by other men, years after their soldier "fathers"---clearly impossible. Still, widows who remarried or cohabited lost the soldier death benefits they depended on. Families perpetuated the "cover stories", long after benefits ran out. As a result, we have an elderly U.S. Grant Robbins still listing a father, on his delayed birth cert. who died long before he was
conceived---w/ affidavits to that effect. Several well-meaning current-day Robbins/Reeder kin prefer to "let sleeping dogs lie", out of respect for the dead, or sensitivity for descendants. B/c I did not create the memorials, I cannot change the data, but that might be a thought---reaching out to them. I truly believe nothing has been done w/ any attempt to deceive, rather to respect the old ways, as it were.

RE: Mary Jane Roper Ledbetter Tschudi
Can you tell me what edit I may have sent to you? I see I don't hold this memorial and am not related to her. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sorry - can you send me the memorial # you're referring to and if it was sent as an automatic edit or a note? I can't find anything in my records, but then I send out 100's of edits a week. Thanks.

Moore Cemetery photos
Martha, In looking for directions to Moore Cemetery, I ran across this site which has some of the photos you requested:
http://www.larkcom.us/ancestry/_code/cemetery.cfm?cemetery=182

It sounds as if the cemetery is off a trail in the woods, so I won't be attempting to visit because I'm allergic to poison ivy - a plant common to this area.

Perhaps you could contact the owners of the photos above and request use of them.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
