There are many memorials that I have added because so many small cemeteries are disappearing. I have visited cemeteries in many counties. Some that are in terrible shape and some that are very well cared for. I know I will never visit them all, so I decided to concentrate on just Pitt County. I then decided to follow in the footsteps of a great man of Pitt County, William "Bill" B. Kittrell. His great cemetery survey work has been my map to many of the graves I have taken volunteer photos of. Some cemeteries that he documented no longer exist, but his cemetery surveys are a great resource to us all. I try to add a little more information, like family links, more information, and picture|

Please use the "Suggest a correction" feature to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials. Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for the family links and how they are related, father, mother or spouse. I will be happy to make corrections, provided the information is accurate.

Good evening, I am looking for information on Davis burials in this cemetery. I looked at the internment information for it and saw not one Davis burial listed, however my husbands mother is certain that many of her Davis family members were buried here including her grandfather Erasmus Lee Davis (Ras, Raz Davis) and his father John Owen Davis. They called it the Davis cemetery or "home cemetery". Do you have any information on this? Have all internments been noted or are there sections still missing? I don't want to add another memorial for these guys if there's one for them already in another cemetery, or without being certain THIS is the cemetery they are buried in. Thanks for your help.
