She too is showing a buried on another site, with no death record. Is she indeed deceased?
|Charlotte Smith Muir||Find A Grave Memorial# 56000486|
Is she deceased? Her marker is pre-death and registering on another site as though she has been buried. Can you confirm her death please!
Thank you so much for the transfer of Maggie's memorial. And thank you as well for you work on FindAGrave !

Any idea where Samuel A. Stanaland Jr. would be buried at? Need this information for my War of 1812 application. Any help you can give would be great!

I treasure the photograph you took of my father's grave.
I have never asked permission to use it, but I treasure it. Sometimes you wonder how many people have wandered near the grave of a loved one just to stop there and read their name. I can recount the times I have stood at my father's grave. I can even imagine the day you stood there...and not only did you read his name, you had the consideration to honor him with a photograph. If he had been standing in front of you he would have been standing at attention in his USMC dress uniform.
So thank you, Marcus Stanley. Next year will be the 70th anniversary of my father's landing at Iwo Jima. There are several generations of his line that walk God's green earth today. I don't even know all of their names. But one by one they are finding out about my father and his service by way of his Find A Grave Memorial. Your photograph leaves quite an impression.
Today this was on my mind and I wanted to relay my heartfelt gratitude. It's never too late to say thank you...

You have Infant daughter Memorial# 35549101 linked to Stephen and Alice, you also have Susan Amanda William Memorial# 19509808 these two children were both born in 1875 4 months apart, Susan born in Jul and Infant daughter born Nov. The 1900 census records (yes I know they are not always correct)shows Alice gave birth to 7 children, only six living. Alie, Memorial# 19509653, James born 2 Dec 1874, died 2 Nov 1901, Susan Memorial# 19509808,Henry born 1877 died 1956, Luther Memorial# 35476617, and Alice Memorial# 59681374. So I am wondering Infant Williams Memorial# 35549101, is indeed a child to this Stephen and Alice Williams, can you shed any more light on this. The headstones are very worn and hard to read from your photos. Could you tell me where they are located in relationship to each other in the cemetery? The census record names Alie, James, Susan, Henry, Luther and Alice as children. Thank you, kindly I appreciate your vast work!!! You provide a great service!!
