Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in reading tombstones and found I really like going to cemeteries. When I found "Find A Grave" I decided to enter our family and friends so others will be able to find them without going to the cemetery.

Please REMEMBER I do this in my FREE time out of respect for the families. If mistakes are made, BE KIND and remember this isn't a paying JOB.

We are here to help each other, and it gives me pleasure to know I have helped someone. Thank you for caring about the family I also care about so deeply.

OUR FLAG DOES NOT FLY BECAUSE THE WIND MOVES IT.

IT FLIES WITH THE LAST BREATH OF EACH SOLDIER WHO DIED PROTECTING IT.

Robert Gibson in Union Cemetery
My guess is that he was on a marker with his wife, with no dates. So I deleted mine, since according to the updated FAQs pre-needs have not been allowed at all for some time now. It's too bad they didn't keep the old FAQ there and mention that those entered before that time were grandfathered in. I haven't had too many people ask about that, but overall I think there must be quite a few.

Thank you for the information on Ira Bascom Adams, Jr. and for his photo. He married Claire Hill in 1951 in Leesburg, Lake, Florida. Claire is my 3rd cousin 2x removed. I'm working on her paternal Grandmother's (Mary Caruthers) lineage. And can help you there if you need it.
I'm wondering do you have a photo of Claire?
Thanks again for everything.

Thanks for letting me know about the dupe. The other manager is notoriously impossble to work with so I have submitted them for merging to preserve everything on both memorials.

Lynda, thank you so much for creating these memorials. They are my children's great grandparents. I am so happy to be able to show them these memorials. My children's grandfather was a kind, generous man, and wonderful grandfather and I love being able to honor who he came from.

RE: Frank and Marie Ulrich
You are most welcome. I enjoy rummaging through old cemeteries and if it helps someone else, so much the better! I will add it to Frank's memorial.
