As a woman with very deep Southern US roots, how can I not love genealogy? Most of my life I have enjoyed wandering in cemeteries, particularly old ones - pondering over descriptions, inscriptions, ages, etc.
I'm especially interested in these surnames:

Do you have her in any of your graveyards? Her name could be spelled Girtie and her last husband was Dan Strickland.

I just uploaded a picture for an ELIZA BYERLY, wife of HIRAM BYERLY, as shown on her stone. Her birthdate is 29 Aug 1829, died 8 Oct 1901.
Your Anna Elizabeth Zimmerman Byerly at the same cemetery has Eliza's birthdate but different death date.
Is it possible Eliza and Anna Elizabeth are same person? Was wondering if you would like to doublecheck Anna's death date to make sure. Another possibility is that they were twins.
