Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid genealogist. Paternal lines of interest include Murphy, McLane, Jordan, Ruane, Stark, Hausrath, Farber, Engel, Robertson, Henning. Maternal lines of interest include Protani, Mastracci, Incitti, Fiori, Rosenberger, Fleckenstein, Kostohryz, Bednar and Cunat.

I make a note when I am related to one of the people I add to the database, although sometimes I forget to do so. If you're a cousin, feel free to write me. I'm always happy to talk to kin.

I have also "adopted" a few cemeteries in Baltimore which I have been trying to document. Lately, I have been making an effort to do some simple research on the people beneath the graves I have been photographing. If you are related to one of them and see any mistakes, please write and correct me. I would also be happy to take down any memorial or transfer it so that you can make your own for your relative.

I am also a filmmaker who completed a feature-length documentary about Mount Auburn Cemetery. Here is the link:

RE: Tom Loizeaux
Sean,

Thanks for linking Tom's parents. There's no need to transfer; you are probably closer to him as his friend then I am as a relative. I only recently figured out that he was related to me. I would love to hear more about Tom; he sounds like a fascinating person.

I think I also requested that Jeffrey be linked to Tom. I have a number of similar requests to that same person who owns the memorials of some of the Loizeaux family members buried at Druid Ridge Cemetery.

Best Regards,
Joe Canner

Rosenberger Family
In browsing the internet, I found my brother's (John Martin Rosenberger, Jr.) obituary and burial information on this website. I am Frank Rosenberger's granddaughter. I am curious as to how we are related.

Huffers in Emmanuel Church Cemetary, Mount Solon VA
Sean:

Thanks for all your contributions to the Find A Grave website!

I am an amateur Huffer Family Genealogist. You have recorded a large number of Huffer grave sites in the Emmanuel Church Cemetary in Mount Solon, Augusta County VA, including those of Jacob Huffer (1782-1873) and Samuel Huffer (1803-1861), 2 of the 8 +-children of Jacob (1755-?) and Anna Schonaur (1760-1841) Huffer. Have you come across graves for Jacob and Anna, either in this cemetary or another one nearby? Perhaps gravestones which are only partially legible? I have a couple of unsubstantiated references to an 1848 death for Jacob, but nothing else.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

RE: Mount Auburn
I knew about the documentary, but I've only ever seen the trailer. Let me know if it plays locally. I'd really like to see it.

RE: Mount Auburn
Thank you. I've been trying to systematically photograph the tombstones in the cemetery. I've also been looking at death certificates and obituaries to identify burials.

Peter Jungblut, Petersburg Memorial Cemetery
Hi Sean, Ancestry.com has linked the captioned to my 3x GG Peter Youngblood who was born in 1818 & died in 1860. Do you have any information to verify this is my grandfather? I see from your picture the stone is very weathered but if you can make out any of the inscription at all it may help me. Thank you, Rebecca McKinney

P.S. it's memorial #21713025.
