I began researching my ancestry in 1976 at the age of 23. I was extremely lucky to still have many living grandparents, great aunts and uncles whom shared so much information, photo's, and stories with me. They have filled my life with the love of searching for more..."Family Ties are Precious Bonds that passing Time endures..." from poem by Elizabeth M. Gerus|
NOTE: You have my permission to use any photo I've taken and posted on FAG in your own family research. A note of credit would be appreciated, but not necessary. (only exception please don't copy my photo's & put them on other FAG memorials...request and I'll re-post the photo for you) I'm photographing to share and for others to use...

|RaeWetsaw||RE: Daniel E Whetsel 153250777|
Pleasantview is near Smock but it is not right on top of Old Smock Baptist Church Cemetery. The Veteran Daniel E. Whetsel is buried with the rest of the Family in the old Baptist Church Cemetery..and he was with the 16th Calvary as a Saddler. He is my Great GrandMother's Father. Not sure why anyone would mix him up..I don't recall there being a Daniel E Whetsel in Pleasantview. Thanks for writing back.. Rae
|RaeWetsaw||Daniel E Whetsel|
The Daniel E Whetsel, Saddler from the 16th Calvary was my 2nd. Great Grandfather and he was buried in Smock, Fayette County, PA "Old Redstone Baptist Cemetery".
The information that you have attached to your Daniel E Whetsel 153250777, is not correct. Thank you! Rae Whetzel-Stickney
