RE: Scharen at Prospect Cemetery
Hi Alice,
Since Anthony's side of the stone has no death date, I didn't add it to the record thinking he wasn't really there. Now that you confirm he is, I'll add it right away.

RE: Ella Jones Williams, Oakwood Cem.
Alice, Thanks for incorporating my suggestions. I have copies of the Oakwood Cemetery records of the Octavous Jones plot, Sect C Lot 21, from which I found the info. Please also check the edit tab for birth and death date and place details, as well as the Plot#. There are three unmarked graves in the back of the plot - Carrie's sister Lilly and her husband and what turned out to be their daughter, which I have posted to Find A Grave. You might be interested in checking out the memorial of Ella's cousin, Ethel (Helms) Williams. I found a 1899 Duluth newspaper clipping about her death. Ella and Theodore took her remains to be buried at Oakwood. It took detective work searching for a next of kin sister Bessie Helms and finding her 1920 marriage record in Michigan listing parents Lilliam Goss and Fred Helms to confirm that Ethel Williams was really Ethel Helms who had changed her surname to Williams, thus confirming that Lilly and Fred were her parents. - Allen

RE: 111682129 Claus Doscher
Much to my own surprise, I still have the photos I took back in 2013! The closer up photo shows the inscription to be very eroded but it does look like "25 Sept" in the death date, so the Claus in the obituary may be the correct one. For the birth date, it may say June- not sure. I will post the additional photos.

RE: Alice,
I just want to say thanks so much, i cant believe that you went there and did that. I couldnt read the date before. I have been trying to find info on her forever. I need to verify her parents name, because nobody knows etc.., so, ill let you know. If your up for solving a mystery in the spring, associated with this, let me know. I would even pay you for your time if you can help me solve finding her first husband's burial place etc.. He was a Joseph Lewandowski (but may have a variance in spelling) who drowned in a river in broome county ny, with another man (possibly relative). then he was supposedly buried in schuylerville. he died between october 22 1891 (when he did his naturalization paperwok (renselear county county clerk) and 1892. Anna took the 3 boys to nyc and married a albert pohl, had 4th son John, then in 1908 married martin gronczniak. but cant find joseph lewandowski he was my great great grandfather

Thanks Roy Johnson
