I really didn't expect to hear from you so soon, but really appreciate it. This makes me feel better when I am asked by family about his first marriage, don't think anybody is aware of this. Thanks again.

Thanks for the info Mina, but I did go in on family search several times, but can't find a marriage certificate on Paw Paw & Annie. Maybe I'm not putting it in correct but I can pull up his draft ID. I really appreciate your help on this. Have a good day.

I have corrected the date of marriage on Paw Paw and Maw Maw. We weren't aware of this first marriage, but I wasn't able to find her in Find A Grave to link her as his spouse also. Where did you get this info and if you would please email to me so I can have it in our records. Appreciate the info and by the way are you related to the Vaughn's?

Thanks,
Jean Grimes

Could you tell me how you know that his middle name was Marvin? I really hate to add info without proof. Too many time someone else comes along and fusses because the data added was wrong! Can't please them all, can you! If he is Family, I will change and transfer grave to you. Just let me know.

Lena to Mattie to Dock
Wow. All the help is appreciated and very interesting. I took a photos and added over 500 memorials for the Ryan cemetery. I transferred most to Find a Grave but kept some that I found “special.” That is why I still have Lena.

But, now I am very excited to know who belongs to the stone that I could only tell said Dock Lawley. And, better, I can now make out "Mollie," since I now know about her.

Note: you may find that Arthur Lawley died 13 Jan 1930 and not 1902. Lena was born in 1902.

Lena Lawley
So, that makes Lena's maiden name Martin, yes?
She married Arthur Lawley and was widowed by 1930 census. Interestingly, her mother also married a Lawley, Tony.

All true?

Could you delete the duplicate request for the edit? I will accept.

Booth-Lawley
Working on a family tree for Lena Lawley. I think she was the daughter of Mattie Lawley (daughter of Elbert Lawley). I think Mattie Lawley married first John Thomas Lawley; then a Booth, and finally Tony Martin. Lena was by John Thomas. A child Clarence was fathered by the Booth. Lena died at a young age and had a young daughter who was raised by an uncle, Clarence Booth. Think Lena had the daughter out of wedlock (after the death of her husband Arthur Lawley)in about 1902. Some say the father of the illegitimate daughter was a Walter Booth and report that Walter committed suicide in the 1970s. Do you have any info on any of these folks? I'm not part of the family so I know only a few facts and I've become very confused with all the Lawleys.
