I have been researching my Roots since 1974. My Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Scroggins Huffman told me when I was a child... "Kathy don't forget the ones who came before, if you do, they will be lost." I earnestly try to keep a record of each person's life, in that way they live on in history. The cemeteries of Old Liberty, near Scotland, Van Buren Co., Arkansas, eight generations of my family, Lost Corner, near Cleveland, Conway Co., Arkansas also eight generations, Robertstown, Conway Co., Arkansas, Walnut Grove near Hector, Pope Co., Arkansas, Cedar Creek and Mount Zion on the Pope/Conway Co. Line, Lowes Creek, near Branch, Gage and Crossno, near Etna, Cemetery Ridge, near Webb City, all in Franklin Co., Arkansas, Caulksville, Logan Co., Arkansas, Rock Creek, near Cozahome, Campbell, Scribner, Landis, all in Searcy Co., Arkansas are my family's cemeteries but you'll be able to find me anywhere on this earth creating memorials and leaving flowers for family and friends, Thanks to FindAGrave.
My OBJECTIVE like most of the contributors on FindAGrave is to PRESERVE the HISTORICAL RECORDS of those who came before.

Lindsay Brock (#47166263) is a STEALER of other people's photos. She has STOLEN MANY of the ones I personally went out to cemeteries and photo-ed the entire thing. I have my photos on www.okcemeteries.net for Adair & Delaware counties (Oklahoma).
I have turned her in to Find A Grave for her "hard" efforts in going out and "taking" photos for people...

I just ck'd his first wife's memorial in Tenmile Cem., Douglas Co., Oregon. Saw your note. Just ck'd and he's listed in the current phone directory living in Winston, Douglas Co., OR. Haven't found an obit for him or SSDI or OR Death Index, so think he must still be with us. His 2nd wife died in 2005 and I have her obit. I also have his parents memorials. The 2nd wife's obit doesn't say what they did w/her remains, not sure where to create a memorial. If you want to communicate re this, pls contact me via my email.

I would like to discuss the wife of this jacob that you have as the father of Rachel shipman martin. my email is j.wagnon@cox.net I have some old papers listing some of jacob's and Rebecca's children and was wondering how you knew that this Rachel was the daughter of Jacob of Wayne Co., TN and later Searcy County ARkansas and would like to share some data with you. the group of Shipman researchers believe that the jacob that was associated with the denton clan were not in Wayne County Tn, but Perry co. TN. and a different Jacob,
