I'm concentrating on Manchester Cemetery in Red River County, Texas by researching each family line buried there and adding photos. My paternal grandparents, their kids, paternal great and great great grandparents are also buried here. In fact, the community is so small, basically everyone buried at Manchester Cemetery is related to each other either by marriage or blood. This has been a working project for the past 20 years so you can see why I'm apt not to transfer people. However, if there are mistakes, ommissions, or additions you'd like to correct on anyone's profile, please drop a line. |

|Dylan Parnell||Smiths in Missouri|
Hello, I am a descendant of Missouri Smiths. My 5x grandfather is Joseph Smith born 1813, husband of Keziah Crawford. I was wondering if you had any military pictures and info and native american stories of them.Any family history would actually be nice, thank you.

Just wanted to let you know that Elizabeth Gregory also buried in Manchester cemetery is Addie's mother-in-law. Her monument is back toward gate and to the right of Addie's. If you find any burial information on Elizabeth's husband James or son James Richard Darras I would love to know. My dad and mother fixed Elizabeth's monument back in 1968 and when we were there last summer it was still in good shape. Elizabeth is my 3rd great grandmother.
Thanks so much.

I don't know where he was buried, but it was probably an unmarked grave. I doubt that there is anyone still living who knows. The daughter, Robbie, died in November and is buried at the Gravelly Cemetery in Little River County, Arkansas, along with her mother, Wilma, and many other relatives.

By a process of elimination --- the other marker is that of Lee Skidmore, a son of T. M. Skidmore and his first wife. The plank marker is Hallie Skidmore also born to the first wife. We were there Friday and by using a little chalk on the plank were able to raise H. L. (S.)on the plank. Hallie is on the 1910 census as being age 16 and being born in Oklahoma. She is not with the family in RRCo TX in 1920 nor does she appear on the marriage records.
