Bio and Links
Many years into my hobby of genealogy, I find so much important information on Find A Grave that I like to add what I can so that others will find links they can use.

My research is of Mustaine, Pittenger, Dial, Newton, Deadmon, and Burden families. Areas where these families lived include Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma and Mississippi.

I am happy to add links for you, or additional information, and will transfer memorials to you, using the Find A Grave guidelines.

William Leslie Canon
I noticed this memorial is indicating William Leslie as a half brother to Susie, so I followed the links and his mom was not entered, leaving him in a position showing as a half brother.
I sent the following data so he can be linked to Mary Effie Farmer mem # 119380354:

1910 census
Mary Effie Farmer) @ 40 married 23 years, 1st marriage, shows having had 2 children with 2 living (William Leslie on this one at age 5)
Joseph L Cannon @ 49 married 23 years ,1st marriage

Consistent with the 1900 census

Mary Effie @ 30, married 13 years, 1st marriage, shows having had 2 children with 1 living (our Susie)
Joseph @ 39, married 13 years, 1st marriage

"The Caddo Herald January 2, 1914 Mrs. Joe Cannon died the morning of Christmas Eve. The funeral occurred Christmas day from the family residence. She was the wife of Joe Cannon, the daughter of Mrs. Farmer. She had been living in and near Caddo many years. (Gethsemane- Mary Effie Cannon, b. 6-16-1869, d. 12-24-1913) Mrs. Farmer, mother of Mrs. Joe Cannon, died at the family residence in Caddo Wednesday night, and was buried in Caddo Cemetery yesterday. (Gethsemane- Susanna Farmer, b. 11-12-1848, d. 12-31-1913) (Dates taken from CD provided by Cemetery. I have not personally see the headstones.)" Relayed through OkieGran at Caddo My Home Town website

I need advice on this one. As you stated, they are also shown to be buried in Blair Cemetery and they do have a tombstone. Should I leave it posted in Blair Cemetery?

RE: Frank Jay Vannerson
What source did you use for the date of birth you have? Is Dial your maiden name? If so are you descended from James Dial and his wife Nettie Alexander? If so how? And if so we are distant cousins.

May I ask why you put a note in the bio about his birth instead of changing the birth info, considering it was from a government document?
