I am sill chugging along picking at them. |
Please no more rude messages, or I will have to fix it that no messages can be left..
Thanks for all your support!!! This is a very important site to keep active, not hate full. For the transfers,,,,I really want to go thru some emails before transfers are done. And YES I have done transfers, and some have been transferred to me. So the numbers will be off a bit (how rude to some of you few, uggg)
I do not do edits every day. But I do try to get to them every now and then. When a marker only has one date on it, that does not always mean that they were born and died on the same day. (just a small FYI)
Yes I lost approx. 6000 photos of Fairlawn and other cemeteries that were taken about March 2009 when my computer crashed. It kills me that they are lost. I have not been back to that cemetery since I had a falling out with a groundskeeper. And now years later I have health issues that keep me from walking cemeteries like I used to.
I have gotten a bit behind since Oct, I had emergency surg, family member had a stroke then I lost a family member. Getting back in the swing may take a bit. I will try to do edits this week.
I have had another death in the family that is very close to my heart. 2 deaths in 6 weeks will put a toll on you. I am still crying daily and do apologize for any delays. I do want to mention that some transfers are not complete due to they may be in my tree and at this time with a toddler running around and everything else going on I am not up doing massive research at this time.
Again I am sorry for any delays. I have done edits here and there. If an edit was not done I may think there is other info.
All edits are done to date. Still working on messages.
A few of my family names are Nelson, Carlson, Hornbaker, Black, Avitts, Montgomery, Schandorff, Edenstrom, Richards, Deal, Spracklen, Buck, Helms, Linden, Petersen, Peterson, Rasmussen, Wallis, Wilcox, Wilson, Lewis & many many others.

If this could possibly be Clara (Keefer) Richardson
Father Charles (#49571430) and Mother Ida (#77200836), could you please update. I only wondered because this is the area that many Keefer family members(my Grandmother's family) lived and died. I noticed the headstone showed Clara "K" Richardson and the memorial was Clara "Louise" I don't know what her middle name was so unfortunately cannot be sure.

|Robert John Chudek||Clarence E Carlson 61066756|
I posted the obituaries for both Clarence E Carlson and his wife, Margaret Katherine /Kuhnle/ Carlson on their respective memorials.
His obituary confirms his parents names and siblings. Unfortunately, there is no mention of a wife prior to Margaret. Her obituary shows she had been previously married and I have linked her first husband.
|Robert John Chudek||Ruth L Carlson 25190289|
You sent a message regarding linking your Ruth L Carlson to a Clarence E Carlson who is buried in St John's German Lutheran Cemetery near Rush City, Chisago County, MN.
I have not been able to find any records that verify this link. As you know, the Carlson surname is extensive in this Scandinavian area of Minnesota, which increases the difficulty to verify B/M/D records and relationships.
I did update records on the Clarence E Carlson memorial 61066756 to help identify him specifically.
Also, please consider that Ruth was born in 1886 and this Clarence E Carlson was born in 1898 which makes Ruth 13 years older than Clarence. This is highly unusual (a red flag), that is, a man marrying an older woman, although there are some exceptions. Being this is a "stonewall" in your quest, it's tempting to justify a decision with only circumstantial evidence.
I am skeptical this is the correct Clarence E Carlson you are looking for. This week I will go to the newspaper office and look for obituaries for Clarence (1979) and Margaret (1987). These may reveal some additional family information.

I saw your note that any help would be appreciated for Memorial# 35259454.
She was born about Apr 1848 in Ohio (The 1900 census says Apr 1847). Her nickname was Clemmie. She was married 1st to Charles W. Smith (14 Aug 1865 in Lee Co., IA), with whom she had children, and married 2nd to Henry T. Scott (8 Sep 1872 in Charleston, Lee, IA) as his 2nd wife, also having children with Scott.
I think her father was Adam M. Curry, b. about 1811 in Pennsylvania (per the 1860 census). He was a widower in this census (Charleston, Lee, Iowa, Family No. 411); However in Clemmie's 1880 census, it says both her parents were born in New Jersey.
1870 - Montrose, Lee, Iowa (married to Smith)
1880 - Charleston, Lee, Iowa (married to Scott)
1900 - Marshall, Logan, Oklahoma (widowed; H. T. Scott may have d. in Lee Co., IA aft 1895, where he was enumerated in the state census of that year.)
I'm not related, but connected to her 2nd husband's daughter from his 1st marriage. This daughter was married to my 2nd cousin 3x removed.

Jerald Hansen's parents are Martin Bernard Hansen (Find A Grave Memorial# 95865350) and Julia Neuharth (Find A Grave Memorial# 95865239). My information came from the Heinle genealogy book.

|Holly Shah||My condolences|
I am not sure how I know you, I have been gone from this site for a while. I just read through your updates and wanted to say that I am sorry for your loses and personal strife's. I understand your pain also as I just lost my dad to cancer two weeks ago today. I sure do miss him. My daughter said it is the circle of life and we need to keep on going. Crazy, she's only 8 and she has a better handle on things than me. God bless you.

Dear Ms. Black-Avitts,
Would you mind correcting an item on this memorial? Niels Petersen was Bertha Petersen's father (not spouse).
Thank you so much!!

We are in the process of trying to save and restore Hediger Cemetery and one of the memorials we need more information on is Emma Bierschenk. I noticed you posted some information on her death notice. Can you tell me where you found that? Or do you have a copy?
