Edgar Dodson was my grandfather. I never knew him but I was glad to find his grave after all this time.
However, he was born in 1886 not 1866 (his father is shown as being born in 1865) LOL. I have the Marriage License photocopy when he married my grandmother in 1908 and he is listed as being 22 years old. Could you correct his birth year please?

I've just been looking at my father's information. He was actually 1 of 5 children. His mother was Ivory Bell Fox and his father was Raymond Martin Fox (who had 5 children not 4). The information on the children is on Ivory's information. My dad was always known as Jack.
Thanks so much for putting this information on the site. I have lived in England since I was a baby and it enables me to visit my father and grandparents graves.

My pleasure. Pleasant View is such a nice, peaceful cemetery in the country.

You're welcome. I have transcribed a large portion but I don't have a list of the entire cemetery. I know of at least one other Weatherman (Cecil) but there could, of course, be others. You could try calling the office at (310)-370-5891. They are very helpful. If she is not listed there, another close cemetery to try would be Roosevelt (in Gardena). Also, the largest cemetery in this area (Inglewood) has very helpful staff. Other than those two, there a numerous cemeteries further away, so if you don't find her this way, I can only suggest ordering a copy of her death certificate to see if the "disposition" is listed, which it usually is.
