Bio and Links
Bio Photo Been into genealogy since about 2000. Love cemeteries and am an occasional RV traveler.

I am a "no-dispositions-unknown" contributor. This means that not only will I not create Burials Unknown (except as permitted), I will not link memorials to BUs.

Concentrating my efforts now to Cowlitz and Lewis Counties. Currently (2010-2014) working on Winlock Cemetery, Winlock, WA: trying to decipher my last 100 photos of deteriorating stones. Little Falls Cemetery & Vader Catholic Cemetery, Vader, WA are done!!(9/2010)

2014: Continuing row-mowing work at Whittle&Hubbard Cemetery, Castle Rock, WA.

Also inputting cemetery records in IOWA from transcriptions published by members of the IA Genealogical Society.

From the Find A Grave FAQ's: "The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent of the original submitter."

[NOTE: With attribution, MY photos may be used for your personal, not-for-profit use. Please enjoy them!]

Another note: I will gladly transfer memorials *within* the FindAGrave guidelines (see FAQs) only. I will be happy to add links and bio info for any memorial I manage (please use the 'Edit' tab and the 'Suggest-A-Correction SAC' feature); the recent spate of deletions, dupes, and widespread name-collecting of persons trying to build their family tree on this site is a misuse of the site's original intent.

RE: Flamme in Iowa edit
Thanks for the reply. I thought afterwards that maybe I was wrong, but then again, I thought it appears to be the same person, but with different dates. Good luck!

Ralph Nims
Thank you so much for the photo and for the obituary of Ralph Waldo Nims.

I found the obituary and funeral booklet of his son in my uncle's things and tired to figure out who he was. This family must have been close to my uncle but I had not connected them with young marine who died in Vietnam.

(William Beckwith was about 3 when Ralph married Rachel. The young man was raised as Ralph's son and we had letters with William listed as Nims.)

Now I have the connection and know Ralph's father, my grandmother and her brother were close when they were young in Iowa. They kept in touch for almost 80 years.

Our current generation of cousins are again in touch and appreciate sharing of information on Nims family connections.

Thank you again from the Nims cousins.

RE: Amelia Miller/Bruno Kretschmer
Thank you so much. I appreciate all assistance I can get. As you saw, my tree is fairly extensive. Hard to keep up with them all.
I really appreciate your hard work on your mission of capturing the graveyards.
Thanks so much once again for your work and kindness.

RE: Johnson-Deupree
Check my messages for more info on WH Johnson. Thanks for info on Lumpkins. What is the name of this book? Is there any info on the Burton or Edwards family in it. Maybe the Oglethorpe county library has a copy of it. Are the Lumpkins mentioned on Find A Grave. I'm relatively sure w/o looking that David C. Barrow id probably buried at Oconee Hill.
