Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Hendersonville, NC. I was born in Waynesville, NC. My family lived in Balsam, NC & are buried there. If I have anyones family members and they are not my family. You are welcome to them. There a lot of contributors that only seem to see how many listing they can list and hold and that is not the real reason for this web site. You should never hold any family members that can be handed down to other generations. Any family member should have the first rights over anyone that is not relative to them. Common sense goes a long way.

Ashe cem.
Thanks so much for all the edits that you have done for us; we really appreciate them.
Don't really know about the unknowns but two of them you can almost read. With a little brushing of the stone you might be able to make them out. We do brushing and cleaning on family stones as needed. What road or area is Ashe Cem.?

Edits
Hi Troy, there is a new way to do edits. On your profile page(where your # of memorials are) look at the edit button, top right, and there will be a number by it; just click on that and you will see all your request for edit and at the bottom of that page just click process edits(if you except them). If you have a problem with that let me know and will send them the old way.Thanks.

Dear Troy,
I am not sure if you remember me, but you were so kind to help me back in 2008 with info about my GG Grandmother, Georgia. I still have not found anyone that has a photo of her, or any information relating to her. I was hoping you may have some new or updated information for me about her. Please let me know if you can help me. Thank you so much.

Hi Troy, I noticed you had left flowers for Dock Frank Conner, by any chance do you know if he had a daughter named Flora, who married Robert Bumgarner???. Trying to find her parents and have been told this was her Dad, but i am not sure. Any help appreciated.

Troy, I do not believe that all of this is totally accurate. . . so if you have other information, please let me know. I have always desired to be "PERFECT" in whatever I do, but with the Conner Family Tree having "intertwined branches" as it does, this creates doubt at many levels in my mind.

Conner Reunion
The Conner Reunion was back in August and was held for the last two or three years at the Allen's Creek Park Shed, up Allen's Creek, above Hazelwood, NC.

I'll try to remember this next year to let you know! I DO remember that this is the same place where I met you. . . that is, if my memory holds true!

Sharon
(PS: Info on Dates for the Conners will come in my next email/message to you!)

RE: Samuel Conner
There are several Samuel Conners! The one which I have as Generation 1: Samuel Wesley Conner (Revolutionary War soldier) possibly married to Elizabeth Morton. . . but this is not for sure.
His son was Samuel James Conner, Sr., possibly married to Elizabeth Morton. . . WHO KNOWS???
Then comes Samuel James Conner, Jr., who was married to (Delilia) Nancy Swearingen. Their son was Jacob Conner married to Elizabeth Massey Swearingen. . . Does this help at all???
I'd really LOVE to find a TRUE Irish connection, but it remains elusive for time being. The Swearingens came from "Noord Holland". . . the Netherlands and I've found them going back 5 generations. . . One of the Swearingens married a lady from Calais (France) which lies so close to the border. . . Missed you at the Conner Reunion back in August. . . Sharon
