Hiddenite Cemetery
Processed several edits on people buried in the Hiddenite Cemetery, Alexander Co NC, for which you had already established find-a-grave sites - just checked the edits you ran for me and noticed several had not included the edits for place/locations of DOB and DOD. Is that an oversight? Or do you not update for that data? Example - William Fred Walker #76705500 and some of his siblings.

Good Afternoon Joan. Jessie is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my mothers side. Thank you, I would be glad to manage his memorial and his wife Gaynell Poston if you like.

Have a Blessed Week

Mem # 111822755
Good Evening Joan. My mother's maiden name was Poston, from Mooresville N.C. While on a cemetery photo trip recently, I found a marker for Jessie Willard Poston. When I checked on Find A Grave, you have it identified as James Willard, with the marker for Jessie Willard. I have not researched this particular person as yet. Do you know which is the correct name?

Thank you for your attention.

Elias Henry Powell and Sarah Powell
Hello. I’ve just come across your site for Elias Henry Powell [Find A Grave Memorial# 117407048] and Sarah Jane Cheshire Powell [Find A Grave Memorial# 117407205]. Thank you so much for preparing the memorials for them and adding the headstone they share.

Elias is a 1st cousin 2x removed – his mother, Nancy Wright Powell is my great-grand aunt. If you are not related to either Elias or Sarah, would you please consider transferring to me? I promise to take care of and honor the family by adding from my personally researched information on this family.

If you are related, I would love to know how. I am always looking for members of Nancy’s family.

Memorial 116898727
Joan: If you would transfer management of memorial 116898727 (Wade Allison Sloan) to me, I would happy to associate him with his parents.

add Wade Allision Sloan to Thomas and Mary
Joan: Now you can add back Wade Allison Sloan (your 116898727) as a son of Thomas Henry Sloan and Mary Louise Stout. That association was the only correct child originally listed under that couple.

RE: 120052821 a correction
Joan: Both new memorials are up--146958304 and 146958022. I made linkages to Thomas' and Mary's parents. Also added three children who died young as proven by other records, but I doubt we'll have find photos of their stones even though they were buried at Damascus. The graves of the other children who survived childhood are hard to track, but we'll keep looking. Thanks for the help.
