I've spent a lot of time in cemeteries over the years, hope to get lots of my stuff loaded and looking forward to being able to fulfill photo requests for others. |
Unless the memorial I created is for a family member I am more than happy to do a transfer, just ask. My goal is to manage fewer memorials than I created :)
PLEASE make edit requests using the correct edit tab (ie:put death dates in the box marked Birth/Death NOT the "Suggest a Correction" box. I get waaaay too much email, and clicking "accept" is lots easier and more foolproof than clicking, typing, searching, etc.
"Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead, and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies of its people, their respect for the laws of the land and their loyalty to high ideals."
Please follow Find A Grave policy when capturing images to post here, whether on my memorials or others. You can read the FAQ's to learn all about it but it boils down to this….
If you did not purchase the monument it is not yours….Do Not Touch It…… Do not put chalk, flour, shaving cream, or any other concoction you can think of on it.
These substances do irreparable harm, especially to the precious old ones.

After a conversation with a direct cousin I do believe they are in the cemetery that they lived by Harvey Settlement, York County, New Brunswick, Canada They were a couple who adopted children and helped many orphans if you have any proof they are buried at the other memorial I would love to see it and correct any error that has been made. Thank You for your help in making sure they are properly memorialized.

Thank you so much for adding the picture of Maria Magdalena Mathilda Wolff Krueger's headstone. I took a picture of her headstone years ago and somehow never managed to get it on Find A Grave. I so appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness. Irene Rice, Norfolk, VA

Thanks so much for your reply to my message about my baby uncle. His name was Dimitrios Arbellia he was born August 1, 1911 and died October 24, 1911. His memorial #: 13052931 at Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont, Minnesota.
Years ago I visited Fairmont, and tried looking for a birth or death record, but wss unable to find anything about him. I know for infants birth and death certificates were not always a sure-thing in those days but I would think there would be something about him somewhere.
If you are able to find out about him I would appreciate it so much.
Thank you for the beautiful pictures of the monument, I feel like I am standing right there. Thank you, thank you!
|Virginia Brown||RE: Kennon Transfer|
I'm very happy to transfer him into the hands of his ggg-granddaughter!
I figured that as long as I was uploading the gravestone pictures, I'd make corrections as I go! I have about 200 to go so I'm guessing you'll be hearing more from me!
Thank you so much for all you do on Find A Grave. It is very much appreciated!
St. Paul, MN

You are very welcome. And yes it is in the front yard of somebody's home. Although technically their is a plot that is officially a cemetery in their front yard according to the real estate tax records.
